Review of Smokestack Urban Barbecue

While waiting to attend an event at Clark University (less than 10 minutes away), my wife and I needed somewhere to eat dinner. Found this place on the Find Me Gluten-free app and wanted to give it a go.

We ordered the combo platter with brisket, ribs and pulled pork. For sides, we got apple slaw and cucumber salad and the cornbread. We shared the platter between us and it was plenty of food; I am not a small man. Except for the cornbread, the entire thing was gluten-free and we loved every bite. The brisket was incredibly tender from the fat, the ribs were fall off the bone with a dry rub but no sauce until you add your own, and the pulled pork was moist with great bark on the end. The three sauces (Carolina, KC, and Louisiana) were exceptional in their variety.

The price was higher than we are used to at 20.99 for the combo but it was well worth it for the quantity and the quality.
