Elk Bolognese with gluten free pasta option was delicious. The grilled chicken with GF bun was very good. Fries aren’t GF so chose a salad as side. Up charge for GF pasta $2, GF bun $2 and $5 for side salad to replace fries that weren’t GF.

Rude, not knowledgeable, slow, overpriced, and not safe.
Very rude about gluten allergen information. I have celiac and was unable to eat ANYTHING from this restaurant. If I could give less than 1 Star I absolutely would.
We visited the Smugglers Brewpub for lunch mainly because we couldn't find many places online that mention gluten free options. We however, weren't dissappointed. It has charming mountain atmosphere and since we were there for lunch wasn't noisy at all. Up scale food and they even use cloth napkins which is a nice touch. If you get a booth it has beautiful mountain views.
I ordered the Elk bolognese with the gluten free pasta. It was a nice size serving topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese and I think it was a dollop of mascarpone cheese. We both agreed that even if you didn't need gluten free pasta you would enjoy this one. Maybe next time it would be better if a salad was ordered as well. For the other entree (not gluten free) we ordered fish and chips which were also really good. The chips are the thin one's and cooked just right and the fish was not greasy at all. Not a large serving 2 pieces of fish with a small side of coleslaw. The coleslaw was bland, but not a deal breaker.
Our server was Jay and he couldn't have been better. Always there to check and see if all was well and very pleasant personality. The only negative to the restaurant would be the lack of cleaning in some areas. It has high wooden beams throughout and ironically the ones above the kitchen were incredibally dirty/dusty. You could just picture the dust falling into the food prep area. There were other areas that just needed a little extra cleaning attention.
Would definitely recommend or return to this restaurant.
Service was a bit slow. Food was good. There was a bit of cross contamination with my food as I reacted, though I am rather sensitive to gluten.
