Friendly staff. Spoke to the owner who said if you say you have a gluten allergy it is made in a separate prep area, glove changes, and even a dedicated GF toaster. If you say you are gluten free it will be made on gf bread but on the same area as the regular food.
Positive first impression. They don’t have dairy free cheeses.
Updated: July 2024. I have eaten here a zillion times now 😂 I’ve had their sandwiches now, too (melty style are super yummy) and their burgers are also awesome. One of the best celiac safe places in town, and the staff are awesome!
Have eaten here about a dozen times now and never had a problem. Let them know you have celiac / gluten allergy and they will mark the ticket. They have a separate prep area. I almost exclusively get salads here, but they have very good gluten free bread (my sister’s fave, I just don’t really like gf bread no matter what… 🙂) Food has always been super tasty and my non-gf friends love this place, one of their favorite sandwich shops. Everyone is happy!
First off… THE BREAD YES!!! Sooo good, the bread toasted was delicious and perfect with my chicken sandwich. I wouldn’t recommend the spicy ranch… just didn’t go well with the GF bread and the staff could’ve been a bit more attentive but no reaction and it hit the spot :) 9/10!
By far, my favorite sandwich place! They take having Celiac seriously. I try to visit here 2-3 times a month and I have never had an issue. The GF beers, ciders, etc here are the icing on the cake. Everything is freshly brought in. No freezers, no microwaves, and no fryers.
Visiting my kid at CSU and had heard good things about Snack Attack. Did not disappoint! Cashier was super friendly and understood what celiac was (bonus)!! You just need to let them know you are celiac and they take precautions to get you a safe sandwich. My sandwich was toasted and so good...highly recommend for celiacs! They also have GF chips available. Will definitely return!!!
Not so much a review but comment. Glad to see this place has become great for Celiac and other allergies.
However I’ve noticed my review was removed despite actually getting sick from Snack Attack early on their career. Again glad they have a god track record but I wouldn’t expect an app like this to censor their users and try to invalidate their experiences.
Very yummy I got a toasted custom sandwich and it was very delicious didn’t get sick after either.
Snack Attack has been our go-to throughout the pandemic. We started ordering delivery from Noco Nosh, then we learned about their rewards program for in house and pick up orders! I have NEVER gotten sick here - we’re talking weekly orders for over a year! They are so intentional and really want to take care of people with allergies and celiac. They keep canned cider on hand, too! It’s a wonderful community joint for everyone. We love it here!!
i’ve only gone here once, but i loved it! they have amazing gluten free bread on their menu, and asked if my gluten free diet was an allergy or preference. when i told them it was an allergy, they put “GLUTEN ALLERGY!” on my receipt! amazing place, super nice staff, and highly recommended!!
These guys are impressive with their level of GF knowledge! They have a celiac cook so they work hard to prevent cross-contact if you alert them of your dietary needs. They let me know what ingredients they could (all sliced meats) and cant avoid cross-contact (tuna salad, hummus) with. Sandwiches are great and they have a good selection of cider, wine, and a GF beer!
Delicious sandwiches and plentiful options that are gluten free! I’ve eaten here a couple times and gotten the backyard sandwich on gluten free bread both times - it’s amazing and the bread they use is great, not too grainy and it doesn’t fall apart immediately like many gluten free breads do. The sandwich was very flavorful and had a lot of fresh veggies, but they did not overpower the meat as can often happen. If you mention a gluten allergy or celiac they will clean the prep area and use separate or cleaned utensils. They have a lot of ciders as well. The decor inside is simple and modern and employees are cheerful and friendly.
It was fine but overpriced and the bread wasn't great. Didn't get sick so that's good.
