Son said it was the best GF bread he’s had. He has celiac and did not have a reaction.

Hi! We are so happy to hear it was your son's best GF bread he's had! We hope to see you again real soon!
My visit must have been during an off night because my experience was nothing like the other reviews on FMGF. When I walked in, 6pm on a Thursday, the place was empty except the two workers. I told them I had Celiac disease and they looked at me blankly. I said "It's like a severe gluten allergy". They said they'd never heard of it. I asked what they do to prepare gf food safely. He said "We won't put your bread in the toaster with other bread at the same time". I asked "But you use the same toaster?" He said "Yes". I asked "Do you change gloves?" he said "Um, well we can if you want". So I am seeing red flags from this conversation. I paused and said "Well let me think what I would like to order".
I then had a moment to look around. I realized that the whole store was filthy and literally covered in crumbs. Every guest table was filthy, every chair. Nothing had been cleaned that day, for sure. The kitchen and sandwich prep area was covered in old bread heals and crumbs, crumbs, crumbs. The floors were covered. Lettuce, old cups, food wrappers , overflowing trash bins. Crumbs everywhere, even on the cash register thing. Maybe they were short workersthat day because the place was totally filthy, and I am not just talking crumbs.
I then noticed a big sign about the food prep area that said in big letters 'We cant ensure safety for Celiac Disease" and I thought "wow, these guys must see that sign every time they prepare food, but still they hadnt heard of celiac? This was now almost weird.
Anyways, I decided to leave and not eat there. I've never left a place I found on FMGF and I am not a picky eater. But the red flags were just sky high.

Good morning, Simone. This is very disappointing to hear; we are sorry this was your experience. I contacted our General and Area Manager for this location to ensure we get this taken care of. We take steps to make sure gluten and celiac guests are well taken care of and feel safe when eating with us. Just so you know, our protocol requires that we must change gloves, put it in a separate tin for broiling, and use a specifically labeled "Gluten-Free Knife" when cutting the sandwich. This will be handled immediately, and we hope you can give us another chance to make things right! Feel free to email [email protected] if you'd like to talk more about your experience.
Delicious. Super far from my terminal, and so far from other parts of the airport that it’s funny.

I'm happy you enjoyed it! It's a little funny how far it is, but it makes for the perfect getaway from the DIA crowds or a great long layover spot!
Our staff is required to change their gloves before preparing a gluten-free sandwich. The sandwich is prepared on a separate piece of tinfoil so that it doesn’t touch the counter where non-GF sandwiches are prepared. All of our sandwiches are toasted by going through a broiler. While we do not have a separate gluten-free broiler, we do put the GF sandwiches on a separate tray to go through the broiler. After a GF sandwich is prepared, it is cut using a specifically labeled “GF” knife. It is then labeled “GF” on the wrapping.
DISCLAIMER: Because we do not have a gluten-free kitchen, there is always the risk of cross-contamination with gluten. We make all attempts to provide a completely gluten-free experience for people with a gluten allergy or intolerance; however, we cannot guarantee there will be no cross-contamination.
I stopped here while visiting Denver and was not disappointed. This is some of the best gluten free bread I’ve had! I mentioned that I have celiac when I ordered, so the manager made my sub for me. It was a great experience all around!
One thing to note: the toasted sandwiches do go in the same oven as other sandwiches. I am very sensitive but did not have a problem here.

Woohoo! We are so glad you found us! It's true that our GF sandwiches go into the same oven as the others (we aren't a full GF kitchen), but we take all precautions to try and make it the best and safest meal for all those who have a gluten allergy or intolerance. Hope you had safe travels!
Fantastic staff. I was there around noon while at a conference and while they use a shared toaster (I asked for a non-toasted sandwich) they told me they hadn’t done any prep yet in the back room, so they toasted my sandwich in an empty oven. Bread was fantastic too!

Super clubs are one of the tastiest! Thanks for the rating and we hope you had safe travels!
I had a ham and provolone sandwich from here. The order taker made me feel way better because she said she knows several celiacs and they have no issues eating here. The bread tasted really good. I would recommend!

WOW! We visited Denver and I found this gem on the app. Their GF sub bread is delicious! Extensive allergen info on their website. Best deli sub I’ve ever had, my Daughter who is not GF concurred. Get there before the weekday lunch rush, by noon time the line was 15 deep out the door with locals, so you know it’s that good!

Great bread. Didn’t seem gluten free at all.
Wow. The best gf hoagie roll I've ever had. I had chicken salad with provolone, lettuce, and pickle. I want expecting it to be warm, and that kind of concerned me when I got it. They are very clear that they go out of their way to provide gf items but promise of safety in handling or prep. I had no problems. It was delicious. Their gf bread comes from a bakery in Denver. I would go there again in a heartbeat.

They have a big sign saying there’s high risk of cc but the workers assured me they would use different knives and put tin foil down on the toaster. One person in the back said their brother has sensitive celiac and doesn’t get sick. I felt comfortable ordering with that information! My food came out marked GF too!

Gluten free bread available for an additional charge. I ordered online to avoid the line and picked it up. Sandwich was delicious and I did not get sick.

Tasty sandwich with on actual sandwich roll! Their gf menu is on the side wall. Not sure of cross contamination measures, but I didn’t ask

Decently extensive GF menu. And the GF bread is actually hoagie style. Not totally safe if you have severe allergies. Love this place.
NOT celiac friendly. Staff may be knowledgeable but they pull the meat and toppers from the same spread they use for the gluten sandwiches and I had to ask for them to change their gloves. I did not trust eating the sandwich so gave it to my non-celiac husband to eat.
No
Make sure to let them know if you have Celiac Disease, and to change their gloves, not to toast the bread, or use the same utensils. I was sick both times I tried to eat here - even though I stressed my sensitivity.
No
Hands down the absolute best gluten free sandwich ever!!
Yes
Awesome bread!
Not only the best GF sandwich I've eaten; it's the best overall sandwich I've eaten in a LONG time!
Yes
I asked the gentleman at the counter about safely preparing gluten free. He told me they are very careful about cross contamination and the certain colored utensils are gluten free. He was nice and didn't make me feel rushed or ridiculous when asking nervous questions during a lunch rush 😅 I ordered an Italian Sammy with Avocado and it was the most delicious sandwhich I'd tasted since going gluten free. And I didn't get sick!

They do have allergy procedures, but they are only ok most of the time. Have been glutened once.
Thanks for the great rating! We hope to serve you again real soon, Snarf On!
I watched an employee swap gloves to handle my sandwich only to let another employee pick it up and then drop part of my sandwich into the crumb tray of the oven.... Then the clean gloved employee PICK IT UP AND PUT IN ON MY SANDWICH!!!! LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! You have been trained to swap gloves you know its an issue or else why would you be trained to swap gloves?
All that aside they have zero separation obv. for gluten-free.... DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE WITH CELAIC

everything is nicely labeled and worker was super friendly and helpful with gluten free celiac accommodations. got prime rib with all toppings and potato salad. GF Bread is a bit of an expensive up charge but worth it. Doesn’t fall apart at all.

Hi Audrey, I'm so glad you liked our Prime Rib sandwich! Brandy and her team at our UT location rock! Thanks for the review; see you again soon!
OMG- delicious sandwich. It is so rare to be able to get a GF hoagie style sandwich. Most places make the sandwich on Udis bread. The sandwiches and salads were great.
