I was so disappointed with my experience here. I sat at the bar and I had horrible service. The bartender knew that the fryer was gf but couldn’t answer any other questions. Menu is confusing because there are fried gluten containing items. The chips and guacamole were good, but the tacos were borderline gross and absolutely overpriced. The margarita could have been better too.
OMG is all I can say. I have celiac and they were amazing. Everything can be made gluten free-corn tortillas substituted for flour. Guacamole homemade. Chips celiac patrons can eat - Completely separate fryer. My husband (non-celiac) had chimichanga-light and non greasy. I got chicken enchiladas- CHUNKS of chicken- came with rice and fresh black beans. The SANGRIA is to TIE FOR. It is a drive for us BUT WE will definitely be back SOON. Please go you will not be sorry. They do not open until 3:00 - please note !
What a wonderful hidden gem! Sobre Mesa is DELICIOUS and incredibly celiac friendly! They had the owner come talk to our table about our options and nearly everything on the menu can be made gluten free. There is a dedicated fryer for their house made fries as others have said (drool, what a treat) and their tacos were scrumptious!
I had called in advance to check on gluten free options. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free including the tortilla chips fried in a dedicated fryer. The guacamole was one of the best I have eaten and the meal was delicious. The restaurant was extremely clean and the staff was friendly we will be returning soon.
Sobre Mesa is one of the only places i whole heartedly trust. While they don’t have a designated GF menu, just about everything they offer is GF. Yes, even their fried foods!! Absolutely love getting to enjoy chips and salsa for a change. Their menu is full of incredible options, staff is extremely knowledgeable, and I’ve only had a great experience here. One of the best GF hidden gems around!
This new establishment has great tacos. The cocktails are fantastic. The manager came over and they make all the chips and French fries in a dedicated fryer. Almost the entire menu is gluten free except the empanadas and burritos and fried calamari. The bar is huge, there are an assortment of homemade salsas that go great on all the tacos. We had the brisket tacos and Lamb Birria tacos, street corn , rice and beans. All amazing and you can’t find Mexican like this around here. 5*
