We are at Heidi’s one day for breakfast and then here the next. Portions and quality at Heidi’s was amazing. Here portions were small and options more limited for the same price. Get the blueberry pancakes at Heidi’s instead. You won’t be disappointed there. Food at craft house was edible but small portions, , only one gluten free waffle but not celiac safe waffle, and tiny frozen reheated bagel. Even gluten eaters liked Heidi’s better.
Chef allowed us to order the gf breakfast bagel sandwiches to go after the noon cut off. He offered to take extra precautions with changing gloves and cleaning workspace. It helped that it was off slower hours but fantastic service for us. Got two gf breakfast bagel sandwiches to go for the beach. Fabulous bacon bloody mary for the non celiac (not sure if safe) and one of the best lattes coffee in town. Server Nicole was amazing and staff was super helpful for celiac safe.
GO HERE. If you’re in Tahoe definitely make a stop. I was specific everywhere we went about my celiac and need for glove changes etc. Didn’t get sick at all, and the gluten free bagel with ham, egg, and cheese with avocado was AMAZING. Very sensitive and didn’t have any issues.
