No symptoms from eating here. It’s been a few weeks so I don’t remember the exact item I had but it was something avocado based. Waitress was very aware and knowledgeable and mentioned the dedicated fryer for chips. Food was tasty and well-prepared.

Had new waiter that wasn’t familiar with GF options. Thankfully a more experienced waiter was able to help. Unfortunately, they brought us the wrong chips but we noticed before it was too late. GF chips and quesadilla did not taste good.

My son has celiacs but is asymptomatic. The staff was extremely accommodating & knowledgeable. They made us feel so safe with what they offered to him and he loved it!

Server was knowledgeable and helpful about GF options. I was going to order steak tacos but he said the steak was marinated in soy sauce based marinade. Gave me all the other options and brought out tortilla chips thats were from a designated gf fryer. Yay! Super appreciative from this celiac gal. I’m from CA so this isn’t super authentic Mexican food but the skinny margarita was great, chips yum and safe and that made me happy.

My wife had a modified tuna tostadas which were amazing! I had the beef tacos which were well above average to very very good. We also had the red salsa and guacamole!
The manager came out to talk to us. He very knowledgeable and helpful.

I let the server know that I had Celiac and would get very sick if I had gluten. She assured me they would take all precautions to ensure there would be no cross contamination. She even brought my GF tortilla chips on a separate plate from my husbands. We no sooner got home and I was heading for the bathroom. I definitely got glutened. Still having terrible pain next day so not sure what went wrong.

Great experience always. They can make separate chips, fries etc in a fryer. Some wait staff will sometimes say they can’t because they are uninformed so be sure to ask them to check. Steet corn, chips & queso, guac, salsa trio, steak skewers and pork tacos are awesome.

Great food and service! They even cook their tortilla chips separately when you inform them of your allergy. Always had a great time here!

As much as I want them to be a legitimate option for me, it is just not a safe place for celiacs. I have been there multiple times, and probably 75% of the time I have had a reaction. I always tell my server--I have even talked to a manager most of my visits. As I am currently on day 3 feeling like a swallowed knives since my visit there, I thought I would warn others. I have ordered a variety of items, but most recently I got the bacon cheeseburger on a gluten free bun. The order came out, and I could tell right away it was not the gluten free bun. Additionally, they had fried, breaded onions on the burger. I asked the runner just to take it back and take it off the check. I had mixed feelings about taking a chance on them again anyway, and when the order was wrong, I decided to skip the meal. A manager came over and assured me he could deliver me a gluten free cheeseburger. I said no the first time, but he came back again and convinced me that they could make it. The next burger came out on the gluten free bun, and the fries were missing the gluteny seasoning, but I am still miserable and in lots of pain. I have had similar hit or miss luck with the kitchen salad, which should be gluten free, but it has made me sick at least once. And I've ordered enchiladas, which were ok once but not ok the second time. I so wanted a Mexican option for gluten free, but SOL is not it for me. I will say, all of my food was tasty, but none of it was worth the subsequent pain.

Never had a problem here . They go above and beyond to make sure my food is safe. The waitresses are very attentive and double check that the food comes out gluten free.
Dedicated fryer for chips and items for those with issues with gluten. The food is fantastic as well and the environment is nice. Great family place and really great wait staff. I will definitely be returning!
