Solo Patate

I have to report that this place is NOT dedicated glutenfree. I got the bread with panelle sure it would be gluten free and it was not. Everything inside the place says "all glutenfree" but then when I asked about the bread (just to make extra sure) they said that's regular bread. I had to give it to my boyfriend. PLEASE watch out. I didn't even had the croquettes because I wasn't sure about cross contamination anymore.

Qualità e semplicità: due degli ingredienti fondamentali per la riuscita di un prodotto squisito come quelli che propone questo posto. Io ho preso crocchette di patate e panelle (ma c’è anche tanto altro), FANTASTICHE!! Fritte e condite al momento,in piena sicurezza.

great little street food place right down the street from Quattro Canti. Everything there is gluten free. I was so excited to be able to eat pane e panelli while in Palermo, as I used to eat that before I was diagnosed with Celiac! They also have stuffed potatoes and croquettes, which I didn't try but they looked great.

A baked potato with assorted toppings was a welcome change to our pasta overload! A few outdoor tables. Mainly take out.

A brilliant little shop, baked potatoes with, melted local cheeses (4) and bacon. It is a street food type place but all GF, plus with gf beer. Two meals + beer and coke for less than €20. What’s not to like. Plus lovely couple manage it, and speak english.

We love this little establishment. In fact we ate here twice during our 4 days in Palermo. The owner was very kind, even going down the street to ask the cafe to come take our espresso order since they don’t serve coffee. The stuffed potatoes are delicious. I had the Vegetariano and my mom ordered the tuna. It was also cool to be able to eat a crocche…. Which were delightful. This was a nice change of pace from weeks of pasta and pizza.

Friendly staff, delicious GF safe street food on the main pedestrian strip!

I ate here twice! it was delicious and all gluten free. when I planned our trip to sicily I was not yet diagnosed a celiac so when I found out I was bummed I couldnt way the street food. I could here though. The men working were very friendly and helpful. Their potato arancinis were delicious and so was the stuffed potato.
