Review of Sonora Grill Prime - Playa de Carmen

Absolutely phenomenal steak house! Gorgeous decor. They even had a kids room to keep them entertained. They give you a flight of salts from around the world to eat with your steak. They have a cocktail cart that comes around and a dessert cart (no gf dessert options). Their chips are Gf confirmed they have a separate fryer and there are 5 different sauces to try with it (2 are dairy free). At the end they give you an ice cream cone with mango sorbet, they gave it to me in a cup so I could have it as the cone wasn’t gf.

I was really impressed with the cost as well, we expected it to be far more expensive than it was. My bf and I shared a 14oz steak (gf/df), 2 sides, 2 glasses of wine and he had a dessert and the whole bill came to $70 USD.

Highly recommended, we will be returning before our trip is over.
