My husband and I had lunch here. The staff were very knowledgeable about coeliac disease and what food I could eat. Had a really nice burger with gf bread instead of a bun. Would recommend eating here. It was clean, friendly and the food was very good
I had lunch here twice. both times were great. the gf Mac and cheese was amazing. I had the chicken pesto sandwich both times.
Had food from here, the PB&J sandwich was good (Brie and pear with blueberry jam) and the side of mac and cheese I ordered was possibly the best gf mac and cheese I've ever had, wow!
Our meal was good. Salmon didn't have much flavor . But waiter seemed to be knowledgeable and said it was prepared safely. I would eat here again.
Fantastic dinner. Many diverse choices, from ciders to desert including soups even roasted mac and cheese. If you are in Chicago and want a great gluten free meal, then come to the South Water Kitchen.
Server was great, drinks were great & THE FOOD was amazing! I avoid gluten & dairy & would totally recommend this place! Bartender even made me a special gf Bloody Mary!
We stopped by for brunch. I had the egg white omelette which was not good. The gluten free menu had options that we clearly not gluten free. When we asked the waiter he preferred to argue with us about it. Rye is not gluten free. I wouldnt suggest this restraunt for brunch for people with celiac.
Nice place. Good number of gluten free options. I had the buffalo shank which was excellent. Service was exceptional. Highly recommended.
GF Beers, ciders, craft cocktails. Chef prepared scratch Midwestern dishes
