Their menu is not technically GF, but they can make many of their items “safe”. The bacon cheese fries were amazing (dedicated fryer). They make all their sauces in house and all are GF except for one. The ranch is incredible. I got a burger with a GF bun and a side salad, both pretty good!

They had a lot of choices and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. GF bun was excellent as were the fries which were prepared in a dedicated frier. The arugula on the sandwich was bad so I removed it in order to eat the sandwich. Reported it to the server who didn’t really care. Mixed review on this restaurant due to bad élément on the sandwich.

We had dinner here today and had no issues. Most importantly you must question staff, especially about their chips which they say are gluten free but are fried in fryer with all other food. Fries are the only item fried separately. Their burger gave me no issues, but staff need to be walked through the process.

I called ahead and the person who answered the phone was SO accommodating! And the waitress reassured me that their fries were cooked in a separate gluten free fryer. They even had a gf chocolate cake on their dessert menu that was delicious! Highly recommend!

I have visited Southern Ale House twice and have been pleased. For the non-gluten free folks, there is a great menu with plenty of appetizer and entree options like salads, sandwiches, and burgers. The menu is online so you can check it out before visiting. They have a nice beer selection and great cocktails. Gluten free options include salads and burger. And they have French fries made in a separate fryer. This is my go to place when I want a great burger and yummy fries! Tell them you have an allergy and they can accommodate your needs. Prices are reasonable. I think our bill was around $60 and we had four meals, a beer, a cocktail (or two but whose counting), and cheese fries as an appetizer. We had food to take home :) service was great.

The owner overheard that I was gluten free, and personally came over to explain what was gluten free. He even warned me that they were currently changing the frier oil, so their dedicated gf frier was out of service and the next round of fries wouldn’t be safe for me (even though they normally are). Really appreciate the care and dedication to keeping the food safe and gf!! My burger with gf bun was really good. Would definitely recommend :)

Staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Gluten free buns available for sandwiches. Separate fryer for French fries. All grilled meat safe as no gluten containing ingredients touch the grill. Had grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Great environment!

Although it wasn’t marked on the menu, several items can be made gluten free. I had a burger and fries with no problem, and my waitress was super knowledgeable.
