This was such a great experience with delicious food! They ask when checking if there is anyone with food allergies in your party. The server took lots of time to point out all the naturally GF options and also let me know what could be made gluten free by removing or substituting ingredients. Everything came out with a little flag in it that said "Allergy" so I felt pretty safe eating there as a Celiac. And the food was - no pun intended- out of this world!

Disney delivers on a unique dining experience once again. The feeling of eating in a space station was continued through the whole evening. The theme of space started from your waiting area, to your transportation area, to the eating area. The aesthetics and music of the restaurant were comfortable even for those in our party who never want to go to space. For the space fanatics in our group they loved the experience. Space 220 is $79 per person, and it comes with an appetizer, main course, and dessert. I need gluten-free options. The waiter was well versed in the menu options that were gluten free or that could be adjusted to be gluten free. There were only a few things marked GF on the menu, but he told me that I could eat almost anything on the menu, and they could adjust how they cooked it to make sure it was gluten-free. They cooked my food in a separate location in the kitchen to assure no cross contamination. My group enjoyed their fun drinks some alcoholic some not alcoholic. The pop rock drinks was a fun drink but super sweet. It's definitely geared for children. The lightyear lemonade was a refreshing lemonade drink that we would get again. The Atmospritz was a fun alcohol drink as it comes to the table looking like cotton candy sitting in a glass. Then they pour the liquid over top and the cotton candy disappears. It was not sweet but enjoyable. Now the meal, you have to remember that Disney is feeding the masses. They have tried to make their main course fancy as they are charging a lot for it but it's not a luxury meal for sure. One of our group got the filet mignon, and it was a little tough for that type of meat. They chose to send it back and the second one that came out was much better and very tender. We may just have got a bad cut of meat the first time around. I chose the salmon and of course they made sure it was gluten free. The ginger beurre blanc sauce was its saving grace. This salmon was overcooked but did not taste bad so I ate most of it. The sauce was fabulous! I didn't mind coating the salmon in the sauce to help with the dryness. Someone else in our party tried the short ribs. They were very happy with them. The duck was ordered by our party's amateur chef. He said the dish had good flavor and sauce was nice. The fat wasn’t rendered enough. Asparagus was cooked differently for each piece. One was really undercooked while another was just fine and the rice was good. So the conclusion is that the meals are overall good, if you don't like it feel free to send it back and they are more than happy to correct it. The dessert options were a nice variety. They too were able to be adjusted for my gluten-free requirements. The chocolate cheesecake was very yummy and rich. It was more like a cheesecake mousse than an actual cheesecake itself. The panna cotta was ordered GF as well, and I was able to enjoy that. It is a jellified coconut milk with fruit and coconut meringue. What a nice light dessert after a heavy meal! Overall we had a great experience, good food, excellent service. The price is steep but it's a 'must do' at least once during a trip to Epcot.
