The manager said there was a gluten free menu but after getting here I found out there’s 2 sauces. I won’t chance it so I only had the house salad. The worst part was the waitresses attitude. She could’ve cared less. I will never return and the only reason I’m here now is for a wedding rehearsal dinner.
I ordered gf pasta and they were able to modify my order to make it dairy free also. When the waitress brought my pasta, I reconfirmed that it was gluten and dairy free. She said yes. After eating 10 bites of it, she came back to our table to say that it was the wrong order and not gf. She barely apologized and no management came over to follow up either. They obviously need better safeguards to make sure a customer does not get the wrong pasta! Horrible!
I've ate here a handful of times and am a very sensitive celiac the chef was always careful and came out to discuss my needs. The most recent time after the wine festival was a disaster and I will not be returning. The waiter assured me the pasta was gluten free and that he asked twice. It was not and I spent a week in pain among other symptoms. I do not recommend this restaurant for anyone with celiac.
this restaurant is definitely not celiac friendly. if your are celiac or severely intolerant, I highly recommend you not eat at this restaurant. I have not had an issue over the past 5 years since my diagnosis at other restaurants in town. I went to a concert last Thursday and since they did not have a wait and offered gluten free options I went. I always do plenty of research ahead of time, but was not expecting to end up here, wish I had as I see another review states on busy nights they tend to run out of gluten free pasta. I ordered the gluten free pomodoro, but believe I received regular pasta. my server, Nicholas seemed very overwhelmed and loat. I explained I was gluten free due to medical necessity, not by choice and it was extremely important all my items were gluten free. He did not seem to understand gluten free well so I explained it included croutons that I could not have it in your salad. when my pasta was brought in once again asked if it was gluten free and he said yes and barely glanced at it. He later admitted not being able to read his own writing and that was why he brought salad toppings out in the side. I was sick later than evening and all day Friday which only got worse to the point I could no longer handle the pain I ended up in the ER Saturday. so if you do not wish to spend several hundred dollars (I had a $300 co-pay along with testing) and save yourself so much pain and agony, do not eat at this location. I know own if will never step foot in this restaurant again.
I ordered the GF pomodoro, there is no way it was GF. I had a gluten reaction that inflamed every muscle and joint I had. It was the absolute worst feeling since going GF
Ordered gf spaghetti and the salad that came with it had croutons even though I specified no croutons with the salad. The food was good, but not worth the risk.
Also every single time the gf spaghetti isn't cooked well enough. I pop it in the microwave for a couple minutes and the noodles get soft. You shouldn't have to do that.
