The menu mentioned that gluten-free penne pasta could be substituted for pasta dishes and the waitress was knowledgeable about what was gluten free for appetizers, salads, and dessert. Unfortunately no appetizers were gluten free but the salads were all good to have. She was upfront about portion sizes being smaller and recommended ordering an appetizer or salad with the meal. Service was slow at first but once we mentioned to a staff member we were ready to order, the waitress came over straight away. I had the Roma tomato salad (delicious) and bolognese dish which was on the spicier side and the noodles were twice the size of what I’d expect penne to be- but was still delicious! There was only one option for dessert I could have so opted to skip it. I have celiac’s disease and only get drowsy when I come into contact with gluten but I was able to stay awake for the rest of the night no problem.
