We had such a great experience here. The two of us went on an extremely busy Friday evening, sat at the bar and was so impressed with the bartender and his knowledge about handling food and their gluten free options. We were told that most everything could be made gluten free (with the exception of things like hush puppies , croutons, etc) but the fact we could get FRIED seafood GF was so refreshing. Dedicated fryers and everything.

The staff was great, food was great and they whole operation was very well run considering how packed they were. Would definitely go back.

Really incredible experience here. GF is not labeled on the menu but waitress was extremely knowledgeable and they take allergies seriously. Dedicated fryer and separate prep space in kitchen. We found our new favorite local restaurant and I’m thrilled.

This place is awesome. They make everything from scratch and to order. They will make anything gluten free, they use rice flour, and have a separate fryer. They were also very aware of my dairy allergies. I got to eat fried food for the first time in forever! Atmosphere is awesome people are very friendly and restaurant is very clean

I had a great experience here! There is no GF menu, but the server was knowledgeable and spoke with the chef about modifying one of the specials - a delicious pan fried cod - to be battered using rice flour. I have Celiac and had no issues at all. I will definitely return.

Absolutely fabulous! Great atmosphere (a little noisy, but that’s part of the charm!) and truly excellent food! GF FRIED SEAFOOD!! Need I say more?? Yes, dedicated fryer! My celiac husband had fried shrimp and oysters, we shared the fried green tomatoes app. All outstanding. Our server was a real cutie and knew her stuff. I had roasted cod, yummy, imagine it can be done gf also. Definitely coming back soon.

We ate here twice because the food and atmosphere were special. Sat outside looking at a small harbor with small fishing fleet parked there. Had the fried shrimp both nights and it was cooked in a separate gf fryer. The first night I had the red potatoes and mixed vegetables with it which were both good. The second night I tried the shoestring potatoes and coleslaw. The shoestring potatoes are very hard to eat and not worth it. Would encourage the restaurant to get gf fries. We also had the Royal Red shrimp appetizer and Peel and Eat shrimp. Both excellent!

Gluten free fried food! Need I say more? Excellent and knowable server. They use a separate fryer for GF. (NF note - they use canola oil). We were even able to try gator appetizer and Fried green tomatoes. They also have a gf chocolate mousse cake. Delicious! I would skip the gf “fries”. They are just slivers of potato fried crisp. Not worth the calories, fill your belly with something else. We also tried to order the fried platter for two, but it is the one thing they can’t do because the fryer isn’t big enough. I would definitely go again, but I will say I thought the prices were a tad high for what you get. Our waitress told us they do have a printed out GF menu, but there is only one and no one can ever find it. They don’t have it posted online. She was able to tell us what we could have.

Great gluten free fried whole belly clams. I couldn’t have the regular French fries but the clams were worth it. They also had a gluten free chocolate mouse cake .
