Review of Starr Ranch

Although the website menu doesn’t mention anything about gluten-free options or food allergies, we gave it a try.

Our server was friendly and super helpful with my gluten-free questions and quickly checked with the kitchen if she didn’t know.

I ordered the Mediterranean Mahi Mahi which comes with a large and delicious side salad, much nicer than your regular side salad with iceberg lettuce. It was a lot of food but I'd get it again and split it with someone

The cheese used in the house salad is hand grated so it's GF, which I was thrill to learn as I hadn't asked until after the salad arrived. When my Mahi Mahi arrived, they remembered my comment about the cheese and had the Parmesan on the side as it came pre-shredded and they weren't sure. I really, really appreciate their attention to details and attentiveness to my celiacs
