We went here as a backup choice, our first restaurant choice was closed for a private party. Hubby who is celiac had the grilled steak, mushrooms and mashed potatoes. He wasn’t glutenized but the food was average.
Good food, however, not many options for celiacs. They have a separate GF menu (make sure you ask for it), but most items have a star beside them saying “some items are made in a shared fryer”. I highly recommend the spicy tuna poke bowl. My go-to every time I’m here!
The food was great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is a few things on the gluten friendly menu are not celiac friendly. Also they do not have a specific gluten free fryer.
The “Beat the Wheat” menu is very well thought out and easy to understand. Then do not have a dedicated fryer, and products that are fried are clearly marked so you don’t need to ask a million questions unnecessarily. The burger buns are Sysco, they have cider and bottles of Bards, and the jalapeño mashed potatoes are to die for! The tacos are tasty as well! I’ve eaten there multiple times now without getting sick.
Gluten Free pulled pork is no more. Cobb salad was good. Gluten free menu. Gluten Free beer - Mongozo. No Gluten Free desserts.
Love the pulled pork on a gf bun.
Excellent menu with so many gf items to choose from.
Excellent gluten free selection and great service. The food was fantastic.
Has a large, seperate gluten free menu. Does not have a seperate deep fryer so fries are not gluten free. The food was excellent.
Great tasting gluten free buns. Knowledgeable staff. Gluten free menu with lots of options.
My friends and I go here a lot for appetizers and drinks. They have a good gluten free menu. The waitresses and waiters are all super attentive. I've only ran into one waitress that seemed annoyed double checking that the cooks remembered to use gf soy sauce. I always get the tuna tartar, it's an easy dish to tell if it's been cooked properly. If it is accidentally deep fried (which it only has been 1 out of a billion times), then I know not to eat it and request another one. Unfortunately with the soy sauce dip you can't tell from the look or smell- you'd definitely know after eating it but the servers are 99% of the time great at double checking. They do offer gluten free canned beer. I wasn't a big fan- tasted too much like olives for me.
They have a gluten free menu and wait staff are very attentive to Gluten sensitivity.
