Asked about prep for their GF pizza. The hostess immediately responded that “there is flour everywhere in our kitchen” and that “it’s not safe for celiac.” It was if she had been prepped to say this exact response to anyone who asks questions about their GF prep. While I appreciate the candor I was surprised at this given the other reviews about this restaurant being seemingly very good for GF. It was almost as if the restaurant had had an issue (complaints? Threat of a lawsuit?) and now simply do not want to deal with people with celiac. I’ve run into this a few times recently at various restaurants— the very rehearsed, quick answer about GF prep — and am wondering if this is an unfortunate new trend. It’s disheartening. Our kids go to camp nearby and part of our ritual is to eat at Storm Cloud. No more, I guess.

Only pizza is available. It was good. And also had the one appetizer available; it was a spinch dip and it was very good. Waitstaff asked if the order was an allergy, I did just fine. No sandwiches or anything else. Limited options here in Frankfort, so if you like spin dip and pizza, you are good here.

We stop at Stormcloud every year, and this year they have a new GF pizza crust that is really good. Much better than the basic one from years past. Highly recommended.

Food truck at back is totally gluten free. He has fried foods. Can eat these at the outside tables.
I ate here without getting sick! Like many people suggested in their reviews, I ordered the cheese pizza and a hard cider. The pizza was basic but the crust was delicious and crispy and it was just the right amount of greasy. I have a gluten-detection dog and she “cleared” it as being gf and safe. They have an awesome outdoor seating area that allows dogs (not just service dogs). I’m already planning on going back again this week!

While not a gluten free dedicated they did a great job and had great gluten-free pizza. I had no problems with what I ate. Only 2 non-gluten alcohol drinks but had a good selection of soda.
Great tasting gluten free pizza!!

I ordered a pizza and it came out on a standard GF crust. Toppings were good.

Very good gluten free pizza! Best in the county
The staff was knowledgeable about there gluten free offerings and cross contamination. For our little celiac 2 year old we felt comfortable with this restaurant. Top it off, this was maybe the best gluten free pizza we have had!

One of the best gluten free pizzas I have ever had. The crust was delicious! I loved the dry cider here also. No evidence of cross contamination, so I’m a happy camper. We definitely will be back!

There are almost no GF options currently in Frankfort, MI, so I wanted to add this place. It's a nice brewpub with good menu for regular folks. For us celiacs, it was only pizza, cider, wine, or sodas. But it was decent-quality pizza with very friendly service.
