Stubb's BBQ

I called ahead based on the reviews. All of the meats are GF. While most of the sides are NOT Gf , the mashed potatoes without gravy and spinach are. The margaritas are delicious and go down easy so be careful. While not the best BBQ while staying in Austin , definitely worth while.

Very disappointing that they have high gluten cross contamination risk throughout the kitchen! Definitely cannot eat here safely.

Great bbq. All the meat is gluten free and most of the sides. No GF beers but full bar is available.

I went with my family to have lunch and the server let me know that the kitchen staff isn’t able to accommodate someone with Celiacs. I wasn’t able to eat anything but someone with a sensitivity that doesn’t have to worry about cross-contamination might be able to eat here as their meat and sauce are gluten free. Service was also mediocre and you could tell they get lots of customers.

Claim that all smoked meats are naturally GF but no indicators on the menu. Also sides are dangerous, especially anything fried as they don’t have dedicate fryers. Had the half smoked chicken. Delicious but definitely had a slight reaction.

Great experience and pretty good food! I really enjoyed the potato salad and the meat was safe! There was no wait, the atmosphere was fun, and the staff was well versed on how to take care of everything.

All their meat is Celiac friendly. Their bread isn’t, but the brisket and ribs Are quite filling on their own. I had beans and bacon and it was also tasty.

Our waitress knew the meats, rubs and sauces were GF, however she did not know about any other the other items. She kept saying "i think" and "i guess this would be". However, when I asked specifics and told her that it would make me sick, she stated she would ask the chefs and make sure that everything was ok for me to eat. I did not get sick and the portions were huge, so it was a good experience.

We had such a great experience here! The server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and handled all of my allergies like a pro. A MUST if you're going to Austin, they have the great BBQ that everyone has to try and offer a very safe experience and friendly wait staff! We had the pulled pork & brisket plate with mashed potatoes and potato salad, and I tried their Stubb's tea (very strong!). We'll definitely be going back next time we visit.

It must have been the night. Waiter was clueless when it came to GF food,had to ask someone else every time I had a question. I advised of being GF and was still served bread on my meal and gravy that I didn't order that wasn't GF. The portions were small, the food was average at best.

Staff was knowledgeable about gf options and all meats and sauces are gf. So are the potato salad, coleslaw, and mashed sweet potatoes. Great BBQ and did not get sick!

I really wish they would just print a gluten free menu, on a slow night, the server was too rushed to take the time to carefully tell me which items were gluten free. He told me super fast and then ran away from the table so my table mates and I were left trying to remember what he said. I confirmed that the potato salad and coleslaw were still gluten free before ordering (thanks to seeing them on the reviews on this amazing app!) and ordered those. No reaction, but not a welcoming experience for me, and I probably won't be going back or recommending it to a friend.

all meats and sauces are gluten free. so are cole slaw and potato salad. staff is friendly and service is fast when you're eating family style. never been there when there's music going on but atmosphere on no talent nights was unique. I saw families with kids, young & old couples and a large party all having a good time with a good meal.

No gf menu, but lunch order taker very knowledgeable. All bbq meat and sauces gf. I had pulled pork tacos on corn tortillas and a side of potato salad. I didn't use the bbq sauce because pork was very juicy. Excellent and filling lunch!
