Small friendly restaurant. Staff were great and aware of GF issues. Not dedicated GF but plenty of options. Make sure you book ahead! We sat by the door and they were having to turn people away all night. Well worth the trip.

So delicious!! The chef is so friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. Teriyaki chicken is a must, but I also recommend the Wagyu beef. Best bite of food I had in japan!!

The teriyaki chicken and wagyu steak were both so delicious! Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about gluten-free. You need a reservation but when we walked over there to eat we were able to make one for the following evening. We will be going back!

Incredible - you must go here! Staff very knowledgeable about cross contamination and I was even able to have fries as we were first customers and chef pointed out that it was fresh oil that nothing else had been cooked in yet. I was super impressed. We ate so much and tried practically every GF item. Delicious, best meal yet.

Really good! Great service and a hearty meal. Got the teriyaki chicken and got a takeout one for later. made a reservation, but they weren't booked when I got there at 6:30pm.

Turned up for dinner without a reservation and it was no problem. Really nice staff and tasty food. GF options are listed in the menu which is in English, you do have to ask when you order that the dish be made gluten free. Tried the fried rice balls, steak, and teriyaki chicken and everything was delicious, definitely recommend.

Delicious food and very kind and welcoming owner/chef. The first thing they ask you is if you have any allergies. We came here multiple times during our trip because the food was great and there were multiple gluten free options. We got there at opening and it was not busy. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food, fantastic staff. I highly recommend this fabulous restaurant! The menu has gf options clearly marked. I got the rice bowl and yuzu sorbet and it was amazing. Enjoy!

I've been twice - had sushi, sashimi, sashimi bowl, and fried rice. Didn't have a reaction either time. This is an awesome little restaurant and they are so nice! The guy that waits tables speaks English and is super helpful. The owner speaks some English too. I loved this place so much! Finally got to eat sushi and not worry about it! It is a small place so try to get a reservation. We got lucky the first night but saw several people turned away while we were there.

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in showing us exactly what is gluten free. I have celiac and it has been hard in Japan to find a place where I can get a full meal. They had several menu choices including gluten free soy sauce, chicken teriyaki, fried rice and sushi. Highly recommend if you looking for a quite cafe with gluten free options in Kyoto.
