Fantastic sushi. Good allergy awareness. No GF soy sauce but the sushi is so good that I didn't miss it.

SUGARFISH does not have GF sauces, but was able to safely prepare the trust me menu without any sauces and it was delicious. Most hand rolls do not have a sauce by default, which I would recco for celiacs

Really great! Just tell your waiter you have a gluten allergy and they can make accommodations. They don’t have gf soy sauce so bring your own!

No GF menu. They can accommodate for GF but they remove all of the sauces and do not have GF soy sauce or tamarin. I recommend bringing your own soy sauce. I didn’t but 2 blocks away is a Vons grocery and picked on up (they had several options). The sushi was amazing and so glad I went and got soy sauce.

No tamari or salt. Hope you like your sushi with lemon!
They can make anything for you gluten free by omitting all soy. They don’t have tamari on the side. It’s 2023, this is no longer acceptable for a sushi restaurant in LA and NYC. Way too many other options available. Overall, you know they don’t care to serve GF customers.

They’ve always taken allergies very seriously, and ordering by saying gluten allergy always works. They don’t have alternative GF soy sauce, but the fish is so good it’s better without the sauce anyway.
