My celiac son’s favorite pizza place! We have a hard time finding pizza that he will eat, but this one is the winner. They have a large GF menu; rare to have so many options! Plus, the GF cheese crust is so good that the whole family can enjoy one appetizer together. (My non-GF kids even loved it.)
When we initially ordered, we forgot to tell the waitress that it was for a gluten allergy. So we flagged her down afterward, and she said that the kitchen always takes precaution and changes gloves on gluten-free orders. Big relief!
Delicious gf pizza options, separate menu and 2 crust choices with 2 size options. Also has gf desserts.

We have been going here for years. Before it was Waldo Pizza. They have always done very good at trying to provide safe food, with an extensive GF menu. However, since it is a pizza place, it is not truly safe for a Celiac. We take our chances though because it is nice to eat out. That being said, the GF items they have (excluding sauces and toppings) are not produced in house and are from a GF company.
Extensive GF options. I had the meatballs and was pleased. The garlic bread was delicious.
Good pizza, very careful staff. My 2nd time eating here and both times have been great experiences. Huge GF menu with tons of options. The pizza crust is good, crispy, and safe. There is a risk of CC (as there is with any pizza place) but they try really hard to avoid it. Celiac sitting at the bar next to me said she goes there often too.
I will definitely be back! Had the insalata salad with a GF breadstick and a small GF veggie pizza. Hope they will open a location in Overland Park!
We went to Summit Pizza after seeing reviews on a GF Facebook site. This app has it rated pretty low, so needless to say I was a little apprehensive. The GF menu was huge and there was so much we wanted to try. I am celiac and my son is Gf/DF and there were so many choices for both of us. It has been 12 hours and we have had zero reaction. The food was delicious and even on a crazy busy Saturday night our server was attentive.
They have a gluten free menu but clearly they are not safe with cross contamination. I ate there last night and am paying the price today! Very sick.
I’ve came here twice & both times were SO GREAT! I got a sandwich the first time with sweet potato tots...second time my husband and I ordered a gluten free supreme pizza!! I wanted to cry tears of joy it was so good!
Tried this place twice. Both times I got sick. I got REALLY sick the second time. Took me down for two days. Maybe something changed but if you have Celiac do not eat here. You will get sick.
Celebrated my Celiac Daughters Birthday here because of all the GF available.
An excellent Gluten Free menu with tons of options. A full vegan menu is available as well. Delivery is available in the immediate area of Lees Summit.
The staff takes extra care when preparing all Gluten Free items, as to not have contamination issues.
I highly recommend you check them out.
Very good cauliflower crust! A little pricey, but very good!
I have eaten here many times since my Celiac diagnosis and have never gotten sick. The GF crust is thin and crispy. Ask for GF menu. The vegan options are good as well, and the non-GF pizzas were my favorite before the Celiac. They also have a few dessert options, which is great!
The cheese gf pizza was alright but I ate it and then immediately got heartburn. I’ve eaten minskys many times and don’t get heartburn so I have to assume cross contamination.
Gluten free and vegan pizza. Better than expected. Friendly and helpful staff helped us get it right. Very excited to know we can eat here and still stay on the autoimmune paleo diet. Through in the salad bar and it is the perfect meal. Not a long wait for delicious food. They also offer gluten free bread for the sandwiches but we did not have any.
I ordered a gluten free pizza with Daiya cheese. It was good and I did not get sick. I'll definitely go back!
We feel very fortunate to have Waldo's near by! We absolutely love their g-free pizza and all of their gfree items and they have one of the biggest selections and also offer dessert options! Our son has celiac disease and so we have very high standards and Waldo's seems to exceed our safety expectations! Thank you Waldo's
Cupcakes are terrible! Don't bother but the pizza is great. There is a possible cross contamination but I have always asked for glove change and they have never complained. They assured me that the staff is well trained and I have never gotten sick so they must be
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Our server Austin was attentive and kind. The GF pizza was delicious and we had the GF chocolate bombes and GF chocolate chip cookies for dessert. The menu provided on this site is more extensive them what they have available, but there are still several options including some yummy sounding GF sandwiches. Very casual, very relaxed and great music. Next time we're in town, we'll be back!
I have eaten at Waldo Pizza in Lee's Summit many times over several years and have never had a reaction. I know many celiacs in the KC area and we all consider this one of the safest places to eat in KC. Not only that, but they have the best gluten-free pizza in KC. I always order the combo, but if you select certain toppings, I suggest you ask the manager which are gluten-free. They have a list they refer to.
Excellent selection! I've eaten here four times and have never had an issue. They have a wide array of gluten free choices, not to mention wine, hard cider and dessert!!
A tad pricey but definitely worth it. An amazing selection of toppings and a very knowledgable staff.
Service was extremely slow. Server and mgr were too busy sitting and visiting with the table behind us. Pizza was okay, sauce was really bland.
Favorite Pizza Place!!! :-) I get the gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, vegan pizza with lots of veggies and the Daiya cheese alternative. Best gluten-free pizza! Way better than Minsky's. Very friendly and knowledgable staff.

I ate at WALDO PIZZA in Lee's Summit with other gluten free family yesterday and was SEVERELY CONTAMINATED!!
I called after all of us being so ill and the owner explained they DO NOT GUARANTEE there is no gluten in their food?!

So many options! Gluten free breadsticks, pizza, and brownies :) (note: other appetizers and desserts are available, those are just the three I selected). I highly recommend :)
I went with my family to the lees summit location, we ordered the gluten free pizza and asked the waitress if the toppings were also gluten free. She told us they were so went ahead and ordered. Later that evening my wife and I both had reactions like we had ingested gluten. Won't go there again
Awsome menu.. Many choices including pizza, sandwiches, appetizers, and beers. Good customer service as well as a gluten free mint when your done eating.
Their gf pizza is great, and they have a nice selection of gf beers.
