Sumo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

After eating here safely at least 4 times, we had a terrible experience last night. The manager at first insisted that they had nothing gluten free. He really didn’t want to work with me....until my husband came to join me talking with him. Normally I would leave in this situation but it was my sons birthday, I didn’t want to disappoint him. Manager conceded that simple sushi rolls are gf. In the past (if not eating sushi) staff would cook my food in back with tamari/gf soy sauce when eating at hibachi table. Manager insisted he didn’t have any (I brought my own anyway) and a chef brought me some from the back minutes later. I won’t go back here. So disappointed.
