Limited menu but worth going because our server was fantastic and safety was top priority! They only put fries in the fryer so that’s safe, and with a nut allergy as well my options were the chicken or mushroom entree. Our server checked with the chef and bartender on everything to ensure it was safe, helped us get a beautiful (if somewhat boring) crudite with ranch and gf toast, and even wrote up a list of other gluten free places I should check out in Brooklyn as she’s gluten free as well. Beautiful spot, tasty food and amazing staff
We came for dinner and while the staff was helpful, they informed us that everything had cross contamination with the exception of the salads. We asked if there was anyway to avoid this and they said there was not. Would not recommend for those who can’t do XC.
I went to brunch here, and while they have a lot of GF options — they have GF bread for sandwiches and breakfast plates — I’m not sure that it’s safe. I order the frittata, which my waiter said was GF. Shortly after leaving brunch, I started having severe stomach pain and was nauseous for the rest of the afternoon. :/
Ok brunch here was delicious and the wait staff and everyone was so kind. However, I mentioned I have a gluten allergy and everything seemed understood but then I literally watched them use the same cutting board for reg bread and gf bread. Maybe they specifically have ways to not have them touch or crumbs to cross contaminate? regardless, I ate it bc I felt like I couldn’t say anything at that point (my problem, I know) and now I feel horrible. I cant be certain it was that, but just wanted to point out the cutting board situation!
but honestly this food was frickin good
