Not only is there no GF menu, the waitress was not at all knowledgeable about gluten. She could not tell us what did or didn’t have gluten. When we pointed out a dish that she brought us was tempura fried with cheese instead of modified for GF DF she asked if we still wanted it. She was not even very willing to ask if certain dishes such as fried rice could be done GF. We will never go back. If you are celiac this is a dangerous gamble.

So here’s the deal with this place. If you like sashimi you will be fine. They have very very fresh fish. Also they have a cucumber roll that doesn’t have rice either. ALL OF THE RICE HAS GLUTEN. When going to a sushi place you have to ask the people if they put an additive in the rice. Some places do some places don’t. What it does it make the rice bright and rich. Unfortunately it contains gluten. But this place has awesome sashimi and cucumber rolls. No spicy tuna either.
Yes
A great sushi spot with GF soy sauce. No menu specifically but ask the server to tell you what’s safe.
Yes
I have eaten here for 4 years without getting sick once. They have the GF soy sauce and with a little consulting back and forth we have been able to come up with multiple options for me that I can eat safely. I love over that it's locally owned and operated. I can't say enough good things about Sushi Maru!
