Sushi Q

We were very, very clear about my Celiac disease, referring to it as an allergy and being specific that the surface would have to be wiped down between making sushi.

After this we were served clear soup (totally not safe), which we verified with them. When the food arrived my husband’s sushi had crunch all over it, and it was ALL over all the rolls.

We talked to them about this and they apologized and offered to bring me a new role. We hesitantly agreed to another role.

The sushi came and I feel like there’s a good chance that the knife or something perhaps minor to them but not to me was cross contaminated because I was stuffy as I was leaving.

But the real icing on the cake was, well, the CAKE that they brought us for desert. The cake they brought us for desert with three forks.

My husband just laughed because it’s better than crying. For a place that has gluten free soy sauce, you’d think they’d get a little education on the subject. I felt so badly for the waitress and then waiter.

He told us that we can ask for him the next time. Him who brought us the cake. We’ll be for sure not going back. It’s just way too risky.

Amazing Food!! Staff was careful about my Gluten intolerance. They have Gluten Free soy sauce!
