I was underwhelmed by the options I had due to being a picky eater, but eventually settled on the vegetarian option which was just 3 sides. I got the pepper Jack grits, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The asparagus was very good although salty, the pepper Jack grits were great and the mashed potatoes were DRY. Overall I didn’t get sick at all, and the waiter was very knowledgeable.
Ambience - ok(enhanced by piano player)
Staff friendly and accommodating
GF option- minimal
Grilled-Asparagus- tough and undercooked
new serving slightly better…gave up
Red rice- dry, poorly seasoned
Halibut(special)-if this did not come out of a frozen box somewhere I would be amazed!…. My fish was overcooked and dry without any flavor my wife’s serving was undercooked translucent and without flavor I switched with her because I can eat fish like that and she can’t!
We gave up sending things back! We try to be polite, ….it’s obvious that the kitchen doesn’t have a clue, and we would run the risk of chef’s revenge!!!!! *** correction there is no Chef in the kitchen😠!

Menu clearly marked. I had the braised short ribs and they were really good. The mashed potatoes that came with them weren’t great. The staff was very helpful and attentive. There were no opportunities to have special orders made like some of the other reviews suggested and I was a little disappointed by that. It was good... just not quite up to the reviews I read here.
Absolutely delicious. Best food that I had during my visit in Charleston. The chef even made special fried green tomatoes in a gluten free flour for us!
I got extremely sick!! The food was delicious.....they made me gluten free fried green tomatoes and fried chicken. But there was gluten in something...
The chef made gluten free fried chicken for me and oysters Rockefeller. The gravy for the mashed potatoes is also gluten free. The food was amazing!
I wound up eating here three times because it was convenient (was staying at the hotel there) and tasty. I didn't have particularly helpful servers--they ranged from a friendly okay on the mention of Celiac to barely a nod--but the menu was nice, and I never got sick. I had delicious shrimp and grits, the sampler plate where you pick 4 sides from a nice gf selection, and a yummy Bibb salad. It was actually one of the better gf menus I saw while in Charleston.
very nice staff. shrimp and grits were awesome. best I've had anywhere.
Small menu, but good GF selections and a very helpful staff.
No set gf menu, but tell the host and they will send out a server who knows which dishes the chef can make gf. The list they gave me had a nice range of options with different entree types including a vegetarian one. I ended up with the Roasted Half Chicken, which came out with a potato and goat cheese gratin and a local vegetable preparation - very good meal, large portion.
Excellent gluten free options! No separate menu, but very easy to find something if you ask up front. Very friendly service as well, and reasonably priced with beautiful atmosphere, to boot.
