I love this bakery! I grew up on the hill and every time I come home I make a trip (or two!) this weekend I had a chocolate muffins that was to die for, delicious chocolate donut and my favorite banana bread. Love this place and so glad they are here!

The lemon bars are amazing! I purchased a small chocolate cake and it was yummy but the frosting was not my favorite. Dedicated gluten-free and a good portion of the items are vegan.

This place is wonderful! Rise GF in NW was closed yesterday, so we drove further than we expected to in order to try Sweet Crimes. I love that place! In addition to having a big assortment of sweet & savory treats (that quiche is amazing!), I had enjoyable conversations with both the counter clerk & the baker working then. So nice! Do NOT believe your navigation if it tells you to pull into a parking lot. There isn’t one! It’s a couple doors down from a gas station & fronts Pennsylvania Avenue. They have a GF flour mix for sale as well as frozen items. Love this place!

Loved this place. Lots of gf and dairy free options, and I was able to get an iced mocha with almond milk! We got breakfast sandwiches and donuts, and even the gluten-eaters I was with enjoyed them.

Delicious gluten free sandwiches, pizza, and pastries. Tried a little bit of all three and all three were equally amazing. Only complaint would be the service is not great. The owner is very nice but the two employees in the front seemed like they were annoyed by having to work.

This is the BEST gluten free bakery that I have ever been to. The ingredients are high quality and the flavors are amazing. We drive an hour from home to eat here and it is WORTH IT!!! They have the best tiramisu that I have ever eaten, GF or no.

Everything is Gluten Free. My daughter loved the pumpkin spiced bread and cookies. They have a great selection of wonderful foods. Staff is very nice and the vibe is quaint. The owner even makes her own flour. Excellent!!

They call it Sweet Crimes because the food is CRIMINALLY good. Obsessed with the service, the dairy free and vegan options. Everything is gluten free otherwise. The cutest little shop. The best customer service, I loved all of the employees — totally made my day!! Came here THREE times in my 4 day trip. Tried the food below, (everything is dairy free below but not vegan) bought post cards as well (not pictured). Loved everything, especially the latte, sandwich (add the jalapeño aioli!) and MUST TRY on the macaroon it was SO SWEET and delicious. I would absolutely be a regular if I lived here. I can’t wait to be back!

Discovered this gem on a work trip. Not only amazing baked goods but a real quaint rustic vibe with window seating and welcoming staff who were charming and shared stories with us. Overall great experience. 100% gluten free . Bought bread to take home my only regret is now I want more! Delicious us an understatement

This place was not only adorable but delicious the owner was so nice. I was visiting from out of state and went back two days in a row. The woman that was taking the orders was so sweet. The egg and cheese biscuit was delicious remind me of pre-celiac biscuits. Also the hidden gem was the hoagie roll. I only bought one, but it’s stayed fresh for three days it’s delicious.

This place rocks. Got egg and cheese on biscuit, vanilla donut and chocolate donut. Was debating between getting carrot cake, but decided not to and the lady at register gave it to us for free! Everything was amazing. Donuts didn’t look super appealing, so I was very impressed with how good they were. Had so many options and everything was really good!!

I’ve gone here twice now and have enjoyed it both times. The biscuit is great, really enjoyed the cupcakes and carrot cake. Next time I go I will be getting a loaf of bread. They also sell box mixes for their products so you can make them at home.

Fully gluten free bakery newly opened in Capitol Hill! We attended their pre-opening and loved everything we had, though they had run out of many things. They have both sweet items and savoury lunches (sandwiches, khachapuri etc). Definitely recommended!

I’ve been ordering from Sweet Crimes for the last year and LOVE their baked goods. I’ve had everything from bagels to tiramisu and haven’t found anything that was a dud. Their desserts taste like non-GF, and the bagels are the best gluten free ones I’ve tasted! They’re dedicated GF, and I’ve never had any problems with the food. Super responsive/great customer service too.

Crazy impressed with the customer service here. We had a misunderstanding about the shipping policy when I’d emailed them (heads up - if you’re shipping an order, you’re selecting the ship date, not the delivery date), and they actually offered to drive the order out to my home in the DMV area to get it in time for my husband’s 40th. It’s hard to make birthdays special for someone with severe celiac, and Sweet Crimes is above and beyond anything I could have asked for. What a wonderful shop - we’ll be doing as much of our gluten free baked goods shopping from them as possible from here on out. Truly some remarkable people!!

This is an incredible gluten free bakery! I have celiac and their food takes me back to the days when I ate gluten. Their sandwich bread and donuts, in particular, are the most amazing I’ve had in years. Be sure to order early if you want takeout! They have limited hours and the food takes time to prepare, but it’s so worth it. I’d eat here every week if I could!

Everything is really good! The donuts, the sandwiches, the cupcakes, the bagels, the soft rolls, the biscuits, the donut holes. Very excited I can get all this stuff here and Carrie is awesome.

I received a box of Keri's baked goodies as a birthday gift and it made my week. The brownie was fudgey and delightful, the banana bread was to die for, and her chocolate chip cookie was crispy but chewy- not dry and crumbly like most gluten free baked goods.
