I ordered a cake for a baby shower and I was disappointed. It’s my fault for ordering without sampling first. When I lifted the cake to carry it, I was surprised at how heavy it was. The cake was beautifully decorated but very dense (explained why it was so heavy) yet kind of mushy, that’s the best way I can describe it. The frosting and cake did not have a lot of flavor. Sadly, the cake was more a centerpiece than dessert because it ended up getting thrown away. I’m gluten intolerant and this was the worse $200 spent. The positive is that the cake looked exactly like the picture I sent.
