Review of Sweet

Disappointed. I went there specifically to get myself a GF treat as my family had just enjoyed some beautiful French pastry at Paul around the corner. I bought the vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting. They were in a plastic shell package and do not appear to have been baked by Sweet. $9.95 for 2 cupcakes so my expectations were high. They were so stiff as to be inedible. I wasn't even being picky- I would have eaten them probably if they had been slightly stale. But they were hard as rocks to the point that I probably could not have gotten a tooth in. I returned them. I think perhaps they just weren't paying attention to the freshness of the GF products they are selling because they don't make them and it's not their primary focus. But don't bother advertising this like you are doing celiacs any favors if THAT is what you are selling.
