Our server was very knowledgeable about celiac disease and how to avoid gluten cross-contact. I asked a lot of specific questions about the dish that we wanted to order for our daughter (the steak strips minus the side of teriyaki sauce) and he was able to speak to our concerns and verified with the kitchen regarding the one question he did not know the answer to. He also warned us off the other dish we inquired about as it was prepared using a shared fryer that was also used for gluten-containing items. After countless experiences at other restaurants with staff not knowing much about celiac disease or caring enough to make sure that our meal was truly celiac safe, this was a welcome breath of fresh air! While most menu items could not be made gluten-free, I highly recommend trying this place out if you are interested in trying the items that are gluten-free!
