DO NOT believe the GF markings on the menu!! The chips and tostadas are friend in a shared frier with beer battered fish, empanadas, etc, and are NOT gf. They will put your corn tortillas in between pieces of wax paper to toast them in the press shared with wheat tortillas, I don't really trust that. So I ordered a bowl, which is basically what you can get at Chipotle. Staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable. They changed gloves. The taste was fine, and being built into a gas station and seemingly open 24/7(?) Pretty convenient for a quick bite of real food. I'm writing this as I'm eating so hopefully there was no cross contamination behind the scenes beforehand. Two stars because it tastes good but there are incorrect markings and therefore actually a quite limited selection.
I felt very safe, as soon as I said I need gluten Free, he said as long as you get any thing marked GF on menu, you are good. The girl in back clarified that they warm the corn tortillas on one warmer and the flour ones on another. After the rest of my party ordered, I asked them to mark mine, as I got corn they all got flour. The girl in back said, yours are done, I did it with the new gloves first for you.
Great experience, will be there again, wish I would have tried this place sooner.
Not many places the gf person can get the specials with no up charge.
