Great Nacho Mama nachos. Gluten free chips is its dedicated fryer. Chicken add on was great. Taco Royale with swapped corn tortillas was spot on. Server was helpful is suggestions to keep me safe.

Love this place so much!!! But make sure you double check that the chips they bring to your table are actually the gluten free chips. 4/5 times after ordering GF chips and salsa, they bring regular chips the first time. ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK.

Good portion of the menu is gluten free and the staff is very knowledgeable about cross contamination. They have a dedicated frier for corn chips and any fried corn tortillas. Birria tacos were amazing!

Amazing Place! Very conscience of GF. Even has dedicated fryers and almost everything can be made GF. Extremely knowledgeable waitstaff.

I read other reviews that say it’s celiac friendly. They are knowledgeable but the corn tortillas share the same surface as the flour tortillas and I was told they couldn’t be sure about cross contamination. I had the guacamole and gluten free chips along with elote off the cob. I was told the elote on the cob couldn’t be guaranteed gluten free. If you’re sensitive to cross contamination, be careful. I’m very sensitive. Regardless, they were very helpful and kind.

I’ve eaten here dozens of times and never gotten sick. I also appreciate that they offer gluten free chips (they are just store bought but it’s so much easier than bringing my own from home)!

Entire gluten free menu. Lots if options.

Delicious food. The Nacho chips are fried in the same fryer as other items so would be cross contaminated but there are many other options that don’t have this issue. The tacos are great and the enchiladas are also delicious.

I have eaten here twice. First time, no reaction. Second time, mild reaction. I would assume due to cross contamination. Yummy food but may not be worth the risk if super celiac sensitive like I am.

The staff is always so helpful and accommodating. I eat here all the time and have never had an issue!

Staff was amazing. They accidentally brought out regular chips from the fryer but quickly replaced them and the guacamole we had ordered. Sloppy Jose is incredible and their corn tortillas are perfect. The margarita didn’t hurt either ;)

A little pricey for a taco. But they are Celiac friendly. Just ask for a GF menu and tell the server that your celiac. They will handle accordingly.

Great gluten free options. They have separate GF chips. Options included tacos, enchiladas, nachos, salsa, and more.

I was happy to be able to eat chips and salsa out again, the chips were not made in house that was ok by me, didn’t have to worry about cc with the oil. Will definitely go back the next time we are in Nashville. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Thanks for making my experience a good one!!

Food honestly wasn't my favorite, but they were great with gf. We got the dips and they gave us gluten free chips since the normal ones are made in a shared fryer. I had tacos with corn tortillas and did not react.

They brought me separate GF chips when I explained I had celiacs and they were sweet in bringing me a bit of salsa on the side. Super yummy tacos and great go to GF dinner. I have gone back several times and never had a reaction. They helped me plan my birthday party there and since they couldn't surprise me with birthday cake because of celiacs they gave me a free drink instead.

Was very pleased with their options for gf. their gf chips aren't made in house (they reminded me of the ones I buy at the store), but I ant complain. It was nice to be able to eat them in the restaurant (and not have brought them myself ). Tacos were AMAZING!

I didn't feel well after we ate here and the food wasn't super tasty in general. We tried a few of the tacos and made sure we explained to our waitress that everything needed to be GF, but still ended up with tummy troubles.

Server was unknowledgeable. We specifically told our server that we had a gluten allergy. Ordered all of our tacos on corn tortillas. We avoided sauces that are known ti contain gluten. We still got sick.

Knowledgable staff, necessary precautions and modifications are made for Celiac safety. I've always eaten safely as long as I've mentioned my gf requirement and didn't make assumptions about ingredients.

I have Celiac and have been here numerous times with never a bad experience. As long as you specify your allergy/condition up front and order the GF versions of everything, you'll be taken care of very well. I hope those that left negative reviews will give this place a second try because it is really the best and totally worth it. Possibly my favorite restaurant in Nashville for the combination of Celiac friendliness, price, tastiness, and overall quality. Ok, now I want to have lunch here tomorrow...

My food was contaminated, despite ordering off their gluten-free menu.

My family and I found this restaurant when we were in town for my daughter's dance conference. We requested gluten free menus and ordered appetizers. The items we ordered were gluten free - the menu said the chips were gluten free but they were not. I assumed they were and should have double checked with the server. I thought she saw we had gluten free menus when we ordered the apps. Be sure to let the server know right away. After my daughter ate them and found out - she was upset. The manager made it right by bringing out gluten free chips and guacamole.

We ordered the sloppy nachos and made sure to ask for it gluten free. It came out and it was not. They had to take it back and make it all over again. There was hardly anything on it then. The damage was already done. My daughter broke out with a bad rash two days later.

Margaritas were great but I was extremely disappointed!!

We used GF app to find this place as well. Food is excellent but most impressive is how friendly and informative everyone is. From the hostess getting us the GF menu, to the waiter patiently answering all questions, to another gal Lauren who came to our table after hearing of an onion allergy to verify what foods were and were not safe.....to the guy who brought our actual food to the table and further explained what all items/sauces were. Hands down THE most informative/friendly restaurant ever. Hubby got the Peruvian roasted chicken and raved about flavor and tenderness. I got the Memphis tacos minus onion and they were super tasty. A little spicy for me but I am a total lightweight on spicy food.

I used GF to find this place and the review I read became reality. So nice to have some interesting choices off the menu. The jalapeno and corn slaw it's something I'll try to make at home. Great service and attention from the staff.

They have a separate GF menu (with plenty of option) and a vegan menu (which is great if you can't eat dairy either). The manager on duty almost always swings by the table to tell you that the kitchen was informed and that they'll be using separate cookware/prep area I make your food

I'm a very sensitive celiac and have never gotten sick. On top of all that-the food is amazing and reasonably priced.

They DO have great gluten free options and I've eaten here safely before, but I've also had a bad cross contamination incident. They brought tacos on flour tortillas instead of the corn tortillas I asked for after explaining I had celiac. I explained that they needed to remake them - not just take them off the flour ones and put them on the corn ones, but an entirely new dish. Pretty sure they didn't take it seriously and just did the former. I've avoided since, unfortunately.

After a horrible experience at another place and cross contamination, I was slightly afraid to eat out. Taco Mamacita went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of! The manager came out and talked to me about the menu, answered all of my questions and made me feel more confident about what I was eating! Love this place!

SO GOOD!! They have a gluten free menu and a vegan menu. I ordered the Gyro and asked them to substitute the bread part for a soft corn tortilla (gluten free) they put two soft corn tortillas in my order and i ate EVERY crumb! Light, refreshing, didn't weigh me down (don't like to eat heavy at lunch & especially during hot months). THANK YOU TACO MAMACITA!!!
