CHIPS ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE! We spoke at length with the manager. Tacos and chips are corn, but are fried in the same fryer as wheat items. Corn tortillas are cooked on the same flattop as the wheat tortillas. When I asked why the chips were labeled gluten free manager stated, “Ya they shouldn’t be.” He said they can not guarantee that anything in the restaurant is GF.

We had high hopes for this restaurant after reading positive reviews from other app users. Unfortunately, we had the opposite experience. My 6 year old daughter has celiacs. I explained to my server that she has a severe gluten allergy. He said "no problem. We have corn tortillas." I politely asked him to write down that we have an allergy, so that whoever was cooking our food would understand that this was more than a simple dietary preference. I also explained nicely that the cooking area and utensils needs to be cleaned with soap and water in order to prevent cross contamination. When the food was ready, our waiter brought out a flour quesadilla and said, "sorry, we are out of corn tortillas." I told him that this was not acceptable due to the severe allergic reaction that could result. I asked him if the kitchen could please use the smaller corn tortillas (that they used for my tacos) to make the quesadilla for my daughter. He proceeded to bring out the same (flour) quesadilla with a side of smaller plain soft tortillas (with nothing on them). I again told him this did not work for us... now I'm starting to get worried about cross contamination because he clearly did not understand the seriousness of the issue and was not listening to me or my husband. 🤦♀ Finally, he brings out corn tortilla tacos - which was better than the flour tortillas, but definitely not what I ordered.

Tacos are on the pricier side, but the food looked and tasted great.

Knowledgeable staff, and all tacos can be made gluten free. Chips are corn so they’re safe, as well as the salsa and dips! Stay away from the fried options as they do share fryers.
