Always love eating here, especially the birria tacos and agua sandia. Be sure to mention allergy so they know to avoid cross contamination.

Sweet potato and black bean taco tested positive for gluten by my Nima device and the contamination line was strong.

Second time here, second time no issue. We can eat all the tacos except two. The Mexican street corn is amazing. I didn’t have any reaction to eating a chip but unsure if it’s because they’re safe or because my celiac isn’t very severe. Definitely corn chips, possible shared fryer

Have done carne asada, pork, chicken, and fish (NOT the fried fish) tacos. All pretty good. Solid rice and beans too. Good, easy, safe

Waitress was very knowledgeable. All the tacos are GF except for the fried fish and the barbacoa. They said they’d prepare in a separate area from where they do the quesadillas (which are made with flour tortillas). We ordered guacamole and they gave me tortillas because the chips are contaminated since they don’t have a separate fryer. Staff was super attentive and I didn’t get sick. Says flatiron in the title here but this is the location near the Barclays center

Staff is very knowledgeable. Pure corn tacos available for all items. Fryer not dedicated and beer used in carnitas sauce. Had beef tacos with a side of avocado without issue. Kitchen treats gluten free seriously, changed gloves, separate prep area for corn tacos. Great option if you are near BAM and want something delicious.

Disappointing experience. Website and door day open at 11am. Don’t actually open until 11:30. I even made a 11am reservation.

Delicious tacos, salsa, guacamole. Talked to the kind host when I arrived who took time to ensure that the cook was aware of my needs and took the right precautions. Lots of gluten-free options. Highly recommend the brisket taco. Also, they carefully clean their fryer every night (not dedicated) and before other foods are made in the morning, they prepare bags of delicious chips, labeled gluten-free.

Good and safe! Was told all tacos besides crispy fish are safe, and they said they’d make sure the tortillas did not get contaminated on a press. Safe chips but they tasted stale.

Chips not in a dedicated fryer (not gluten free)

Corn tortillas are gluten free

Tacos were good but likely wouldn’t return due to lack of confidence from staff on allergens
