The tacos are gluten free and very good., with inventive options. Ate here several times with no issues. Many vegan options too.

Had chips and guac amazing. 3 kinds of tacos the chicken, carnitas and a classic beef (not worth it go for their unique ones. ) also an amazing margarita. It was a very busy night with the Olympic trials in town but worth it while with good company. It was a little loud inside so would have been nice to have found a seat outside but totally worth it. No stomach issues everything is gluten free except the tortas. Worth it!

Love their original tacos and margaritas. And just about everything is gluten free. I eat here once a week and have never gotten glutened. Plus their food is yummy!

Great experience at Tacovore in Eugene. Everything is gluten free except the tortas sandwiches. But she said just let us know and the kitchen staff can change their gloves.

Passing through town and stopped for gf tacos. The woman who took my order advised me that some of the meats are cooked on the same grill as the torta (sandwich) buns. Once we clarified which meats would be CC’dans which would be safe, I had a carne asada taco and a tempura sweet potato taco with vegan ranch. Everything was delicious.

I know the menu says it’s gluten free (except for the tavores) and it has gotten some decent reviews but for a true Celiac (me), I’d strongly advise against eating here. I got very ill, (glutened) after eating a couple of tacos which were supposed to be gluten free. Obviously there was some serious cross contamination issues going on. And Yes, I let the staff know I am a Celiac. I went here against my better judgment as this neighborhood is also famous for crime. Lots of shady characters out and about. In summary, it is a Hard Pass for me, ever again. Cost me 4 days of utter misery.

This is my go to place for date night for a myriad of reasons:
1. Almost everything on the menu can be made GF except the tortes. No shared fryer here. Bonus, it’s delicious.
2. It changes often: Their day to day menu is great but they have specials daily for tacos including a meat, a seafood and a vegetarian. And they have great margarita flavors that also change daily (& are tasty!)
3. Venue/staff: I love the high ceilings, multiple heated outdoor spaces (including an adult only one) & the large space. They pretty much were the only place I would eat indoors for quite sometime! The staff is super nice (tip them well!) and once you place your order once, you don’t have to wait again in the long line to order more.

I'm not sure why some of the previous reviews were so conflicting from all the others. The only thing I can think of is maybe these people ordered the tortas by mistake?? The tortas are the only gluten item on the menu and they're clearly marked.. They're not even very popular sooooo idk, I wouldnt think cross contamination would be that likely.. I've had great experiences at both this location and the one in Corvallis. I'm a extremely sensitive celiac and don't feel unsafe going here at all.

I went there with a friend shortly before the pandemic hit because they were listed on third party site as dedicated restaurant.
The staff was unwilling to take steps to to minimize cross contamination so I didn't order a taco I enjoyed the my Margarita but like others I was disappointed by the lack of customer service

Decent food but not dedicated GF. Insanely rude staff. Will not be returning.

Ok, so we had a pretty hit or miss time w GF food in Eugene, Oregon. I really had high hopes for this town and the GF options, but sadly, many of the recos on Find Me GF were bunk! After a couple spots all tested the dreaded Gluten Found! I was feeling a bit discouraged, then we tried Tacovore! WOW! I’m a SoCal guy who’s pretty particular about his tacos and these guys didn’t disappoint!
(Pic 1) Shrimp was double back flip roundhouse to the mouth! Very flavorful, slightly spicy, tangy...Our fav!
(Pic 2) The pescado. Their fish taco was flaky, tender but firm, crunchy and amazing!
(Pic 3) Old E (top left w bite out) is your typical hard shell taco, was ok. Carne Asada (bottom) was tender and delicious, what you’d expect from a good carne asada taco take me back to SoCal summertime, poolside! Grilled chicken (top) was super flavorful and our second favorite of the bunch. We also got some margaritas to go (Covid rules/closed in person dining). We took it all back to our motorcoach and enjoyed it there! Soooo good and those drinks didn’t play! Half a marg and I was toasty and grinning haha. Everything tested safe, almost their whole menu is GF. Our waitress was super knowledgeable and helpful and they take food allergies seriously.
So if you’re in Eugene, Portland or Corvallis don’t miss these guys! We’ll definitely be returning!!

The lady at the counter scoffed at me when I asked if my gluten free order would have measures taken to prevent cross-contamination. She said they don't do that there. So I ate elsewhere.

My daughter & I both have Celiac and we’ve eaten at Tacovore so many times that we’ve lost count! We’ve never had any problems, but I always mention that we have Celiac when I order just in case. Staff is helpful & knowledgeable. Food is amazing!!

Eaten here multiple times with no issues! Chips are delicious, ingredients are fresh, and cocktail menu is always interesting. I've eaten the steak, chicken, and pork tacos, all with no reaction. Awesome place to hit when it's nice out!
Eat here regularly without issue. Love the food!!
