Oh my god this place was amazing. There are gluten beers in the drink menu, but the entire food menu is 100% gluten free. And they had delicious margaritas. Huge delicious tacos for a great price and I’m so happy with this place.

They are my go-to for a quick bite. The food is super budget friendly but always so full of flavor and well prepared. They don’t hold back on the toppings and they make awesome tortillas and house salsas. Personal favorite is the chicken tinga and roasted cauliflower tacos.

Wow!! The handmade taco shells were so soft and pillowy and did not fall apart. By far the best I’ve ever tried. I had the carnitas taco and the bean and cheese taco. We also had chips and salsa and the spicy strawberry margarita! Everything was super super delicious!! Lots of choices and hot sauces.

Great tacos, love the hot sauce choices and the aqua Fresca flavors are amazing. Every thing is gluten free there and I love not having to search the menu for what I can eat. They have the best tacos in town, gluten free or not!

OMG - this place was SO GOOD. We actually ate here twice on our weekend in Portland, and commented "why don't we have something like this in the Seattle area?!"

I had tacos both times. The carne asada was nicely seasoned and cooked, but the star of the show were the carnitas tacos. Whatever orange marinade they use on that meat is incredible. My wife got the taco salad, and ended up having to take half of it home because it was so big.

If you're in the greater Vancouver/Portland region, don't miss out on this restaurant. Have I mentioned that it's SO GOOD?

Note on the one-star ice cream reviews: the ice cream cart is a separate facility that just shares a parking lot with Tacovore. It’s unfair to blame this restaurant for getting sick from a separate food cart. The Tacovore restaurant is very safe, and it’s kitchen is distant and separate from the ice cream. Don’t be dissuaded, Tacovore deserves a chance!

I’ve been here a couple dozen times and it’s always safe, always amazing, and the staff are so kind and helpful. They even have an ingredients list for every item on the menu; I went with my friend who is also allergic to corn and eggs, and we both found options that we loved.

The food is great, with both significant quantity and quality, and all the tacos are all unique so it feels like a different meal every time. Their local seasonal specials and drink specials are fantastic, and as a severe celiac it’s the only place I’ve felt safe having a margarita.

This is my safe and stable go-to, so show them some love!

Delicious food! Both my son and I thought the tortillas “had to be flour” but they are not - amazing, fresh corn tortillas! All food is GF. Someone commented about the ice cream, that’s a food truck in the back and is not part of the restaurant.

While the food is good I would not recommend it to a celiac. I repeat. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE A CELIAC. Me and my family ordered the ice cream and became very ill. Low and behold we found out they buy their ice cream from a 3rd party. The ice cream isn’t just cross contaminated, it contains gluten. The establishment claims to be dedicated gluten free and no where on the menu or by any server was I told the ice cream was an exception and it contained gluten. I’m furious.

My husband and I eat here a couple times a month for the past 2 years. We have tried many different dishes including salads, papas fritas, tacos of many kinds, chips/guacamole/salsa, quest, etc and never had any issues with either getting sick. Hands down one of our fav places to eat in PDX!

This is my new favorite taco spot - typically get takeout once a week! I’m vegetarian and have always had a hard time finding good tacos, this spot has got them and it’s dedicated GF too! It is a little pricey, but worth the money to me. The margaritas are also amazing!

Amazing food, the ice cream is to die for (and if you are a Celiac like me, I mean that literally). The staff at this establishment assured me (on multiple different visits) that the kitchen is dedicated gluten free, and that all their food is gluten free.

The ice cream Tacovore sells (while scrumptious!) is made in a facility that also processes gluten and makes no claim to be gluten free. Even worse, one of the flavors (Churro) actually CONTAINS wheat as an ingredient. The damage to my intestines is real and very painful. Considering that Tacovore is not even checking for wheat as an (openly listed) ingredient, they may sell other products that contain wheat as well.

Tacovore owes it to their customers to either stop telling people they are gluten free, or actually sell only gluten free food. It’s wrong to tell Celiacs that the food is safe to eat and that the kitchen is dedicated gluten free when they sell food that is bought from a third party that makes regular gluten food. If you are Celiac you may as well call in sick for work at the same time as you place your order 😖

Ate here tonight and was super impressed with the corn tortillas and flavor combinations. I’m not a vegan but decided on the cauliflower and tofu tacos and was blown away with how good they were. I will def be back. It was actually my sisters suggestion who is a gluten eater so it’s good for the whole family!

Great to have a dedicated GF place with real tacos. Appreciate all the sauce, too.

Food has been good but mixed results. Shell on the Old E is a bit harder than it should be. Nacho cheese was homemade but kind of reheated and lumpy when it was on special. Special tacos tend to be larger than one can eat as a taco - I'd rather make it cheaper and get 2.

Great place to have in town and a fave after a couple drinks.

Dedicated GF Mexican is my new favorite restaurant. Variety of tacos and some bowls. Excellent drink options. the limeade was very good. Family friendly. Salsa bar. I’ve not seen Tacovore come up on my searches and was surprised when an out of town friend suggested it.

Are you in for a treat!! A totally dedicated GF Tex-Mex restaurant!! They can even accommodate a corn allergy as well! Fast friendly service with excellent food! Can accommodate a large party and they have outdoor seating. The music was fun and eclectic. You will not be disappointed by the menu. Every thing on it is gluten free and they have vegan and pescatarian options.

100% gf. Unlike a lot of Mexican restaurants, this one actually has a decent selection of vegetarian tacos (tofu, tempeh, veggies, etc). Tasty food, friendly service. The only downside is long wait times (the line is always out the door) and lots of screaming children; generally noisy & chaotic; not a place to have a peaceful meal.

Totally gluten-free menu of Tex-mex inspired tacos (large variety including vegetarian) plus salads, soup, bowls, chips and guacamole and salsa, ceviche, and various other sides. Great margaritas, limeade, horchata, etc. The only thing in the restaurant containing gluten is beer.
