Review of Talay Thai Kitchen

Awful. I am begging you not to go. Went there and had what we thought was a lovely meal so returned a few days later. Tried to order the same meal. After placing the order a waitress returned and informed us that the rice I had ordered despite being on the gluten free menu was in fact not suitable and contained gluten. Although I could have ordered a different item I have had that meal a few nights earlier thinking it was gluten free and even coeliac friendly after they had reassured us about cross contamination previously. When we told them I had had the rice a few nights earlier they were not bothered and did not comprehend the seriousness of this issue not only for myself but for the other people who may have also ordered the same item previously like I had done with no idea of the damage they were doing to their bodies. This is unacceptable. Allergies are extremely serious and they just did not get that at all. It’s quite disappointing as a coeliac who has not been ill for nearly two years to have a incident at it not to be in control of it after working hard and missing out to look after you health.
