We had one of our best meals in Portugal at Tasca Caseira, even though they were struggling that night without their chef who had injured himself. Though overwhelmed, the staff were really attentive to the gluten free concerns, and we enjoyed a fantastic steak with onions, some of the best rice we've ever had (charcoal smoked) and a cheese appetizer without any cross contamination issues. Highly recommended for a nice sit-down meal gf and non-gf alike, but make a reservation or come early if you can - it got packed and we had to wait an hour to nab a table! (so worth it)

Good food, very sweet staff, was clean and neat and very comfortable. There were a decent amount of choices and the menu was more up-to-date with gluten free labels. I mainly enjoyed how fresh the food was, spiced well and well proportioned for the price.

The chef is also a nurse and extremely knowledgeable. He meet us and recommended that we use a picture card (he showed it to us) because not everyone could read the gluten free travel card we were using.

No gluten free menu but they were very accommodating as the chefs mother and sister in law have celiac. I was informed by three different people that my fries were in clean oil, very comforting and friendly.
