I went here twice while visiting Boston in October 2023- had a Turkey & avocado sandwich then an egg sandwich. Their gluten free bread they used was delicious & did not have any reaction. Let them know of Celiac and they could take extra care in the prep.

Lots of gluten free bakery items. Sesame tea cakes are sooo good.

I’m a recently diagnosed celiac, and have eaten here quite a few times without any problems, but the last time I ordered a gluten free sandwich I ended up feeling pretty ill. On the menu they clearly state that there is high risk of cross-contamination in their kitchen, so they are up front about it being unsafe of celiacs. Based on that, I won’t be ordering food from here again. Even if it doesn’t make me sick, there is likely some exposure so it’s best to just avoid it. Hopefully I can continue to enjoy their coffee and drinks, though!

The food and service was good. They asked me if it was preference or allergy. They do have a gluten free menu, at least for me. Although, they don’t have one they’ll give you they read the menu out to me. My breakfast sandwich was good, it did take a while to make but I assumed that anyways. They had a lot of gluten free options, mostly desserts. I don’t know about cross contamination but they said they change their gloves when they make gluten free things, when it’s an allergy.

Absolutely not safe for celiacs. They have NO gluten free items. Instead, they have coined a tricky term “gluten friendly” which means the food used in the dish is assumed to be gluten free. Storage , prep, cooking, and service are not segregated. When questioned they acknowledge that cross contamination is highly likely.
No
The staff is helpful and ask if you are medical or personal choice to be gluten free. Sandwich was very good and gluten free deserts are yummy.
Yes
Delicious gluten free toast! They have a huge "gluten friendly" menu as well as many baked goods. They did ask if I had an allergy when I ordered but not sure how much cross contamination there is.
