Was there after the re-opening. No GF menu as stated in previous reviews.
Had a chocolate layered cake and their hard-marshmallow-fluff thing. The hard-marshmallow-fluff thing did nothing for me, and the slice of cake was just alright. For these two things I spent $16 and was left with a lot more to be desired.
The cake was very difficult to eat and enjoy b/c there was a nougat-like laker underneath the top-most chocolate ganache layer. The tough-nougat layer caused the inner layers of the cake to spill outward while attempting to fork through. So, you end up with the top-nougat-like layer and the bottom cake layer on your fork then have to scrape the squeezed-out inner layers of the cake from your plate to enjoy a bite. Doesn't sound pleasant does it? It wasn't, and was also very frustrating. Oh well. #firstworldproblems
Either way, this shouldn't be a problem given the league of the bakery Tatte is. I will say all the components of the cake were delicious but the placement of the layers was off and needs to be re-evaluated.
Would I go again? Maybe. But only to give the bakery I had high-hopes for a second chance.
