We love the figgery! Such friendly staff, such yummy food. Everything is absolutely gluten free, from the beautifully made bread, to the chutneys and ice cream, to the pies, slices etc etc. something for everyone, even some lower sugar options and am yet to have something that wasn’t nice! Also VERY reasonably priced…where else can you get a beautiful homemade gf bagel for $9.50?!

All of our food is gluten free - savoury and sweet cabinet items as well as our menu. Our cafe is certified under the Dining Out Program (NZCoeliac Society). Our products are gluten free. A number of our products are certified Cross-Grained Logo (NZCoeliac Society).

Great cafe in a nice setting on the edge of town. Entirely gluten free with a generous cabinet with solid food that is decent sized (not the typical gross friands or small slices you get elsewhere). Menu had a lot of variety too. The French toast comes with decent bread that is similar to what you get for non-gluten elsewhere, rather than sliced bread.

Ah yes, everything is GF and delicious. I had a pie and salad and was beautiful. Finished with a lemon tart that really tasted of lemon.

Spectacular! Entirely GF and coeliac. Amazingly delicious food on the menu, cabinet and lovely coffee too. We had the nourish bowl and frenchh toast, loved it. Our kids loved the kids food boxs!

The best place for coeliacs!!! Everything is gluten free. Everything. They have a great selection if cabinet food, both savoury and sweet and a menu as well. Everything the 4 of us had was super tasty. Fog season is mid Feb to mid April so probably the best time to go. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere too.

Coeliac heaven in this 100% gf cafe! Very friendly staff and delicious food. Scones were yum and we also got the steak and cheese family pie and the Italian loaf bread which I can't wait to try! Everything on the menu sounded fantastic. Highly reccommend and will definitely be back. They offer delivery around the country too!

Fabulous gem in the Hawkes Bay! Beautiful cakes, slices and scones. The ice cream was divine. Don’t have a meal but looked great for brunch / lunch!!

Four of us, including one coeliac, had a delicious lunch here. The house platter for 2 offered a wonderful variety of delicacies including samples of the seed bread and the baguette that you can also buy at the cafe. Both are superb examples of GF bread, with the baguette being really exceptional in its chewy texture. We also enjoyed a ginger/fig slice and coffee, reluctantly leaving many other delicious looking cakes to try another time. All round a brilliant spot for really high quality food where you gave complete confidence in its GF status due to Coeliac Society accreditation and the fact that it is 100% GF.

Everything Gluten Free! It is such a pleasure to be able to share a full menu with my husband. The food was delicious. We ordered from the menu but the bagels and sandwiches looked delicious.

Always very well looked after by staff and owner prioritising customer. Place is entirely GF so as a coeliac I felt like I could relax. Sweet french toast with bacon is delish! Coffee is great too. Highly recommend.

The best little cafe in Hawke’s Bay! I love the atmosphere, the people and especially the food! I have been there many times and I have never left disappointed. They have mostly cabinet food, but there is always a special on their board. Soup = YUM, scones = YUMM, muffins = YUMMMMMM Absolutely no gluten in the shop so super safe!

100% gf premises. So lovely to have another great option in the Bay. This is a tiny kitchen offering some lovely cabinet savouries and treats, plus charcuterie boards. The fig upside down cake was heavenly.
