We went here last weekend after my daughters gymnastics state finals. We were so tired having driven from south of Detroit , and did not know about the need for a reservation for groups over 5. The owner was SO kind and offered us a table anyway and just made sure we understood that another group had reserved the table an hour later, so we would need to be sure to be finished. He personally took care of us, was wonderful with my 5 year old son, and made the experience top notch!

And let me rave about the food for a minute! We tried a lot of menu items from the shawarma to the falafel to the grape leaves and hummus and baba ganoush and soup. Everything was flavorful, fresh tasting, and I would order it all again. All safe and allergen friendly foods. If you need a Lebanese food night, this is the place. I will probably take the 1:45 minute drive out there just for dinner one day.

Teta's is very allergy friendly. I work down the plaza from them and they have a great menu for Gluten Free. It's always labeled and packed separately which is a relief that they just seem to go the extra mile. I have celiac and have never had a reaction from their food. I will say it's a little pricey, but It's super good, fresh, and always clean!

It was my first time today, all I can say this place is incredible from how clean it is to the best shawarma GF sandwich I've had in a long time, the garlic dip, hummus, salad, rice and falafel were amzing, the staff and the chef explained the cautions they take with alergy the kitchen they use is all color coded I felt so safe, I will be back! very friendly!

I tried this place the other day for the first time. I’m recently gluten-free and was looking for somewhere healthy to eat. The whole experience was great from my phone call to place my order to using the curbside to pick up. I could tell how much they cared about allergies and their customers. The owner even came out and spoke with me. The food was amazing!!! I ordered a gluten free falafel sandwich, they even took the care to put my tahini on the side. I also had the fresh made lentil soup and their rice with my combo it was such a reasonable price and I was full the rest of the day. Everything was delicious and I felt great after eating, I will definitely be back.

Hi, sorry to hear about you getting sick, we do recall the incident on Sept 3rd in our outside dining. The sandwich was served to you by honest mistake, right away the waiter noticed and ran to your table and told you to spit it out that it is not a gluten-free sandwich which you did, you never swallowed it or was told to swallow it. It was a small tiny bite of the corner of the sandwich and it didn't seem that any was consumed. When we asked if you were okay multiple times you said yes I'm fine. We don't understand why you would say that someone told you to swallow the bite. Shortly after that we went to check on you again but all 3 of you took the drinks and ran out on the bill. Again we are sorry for our honest mistake but the waiter saved the day by running outside to tell you to spit it out, NOT Swallow it. We kept record of your order, the receipt and pictures of the food that you ordered. Again we are very sorry that you got sick.

The whole experience is exactly what I have been missing!! Everything is perfect completely safe of cross-contamination! The service is perfect. I can’t pick a favorite it is all so good!

Wow! Best falafel sandwich I’ve had in the US! Excellent baba too. The manager greeted us with a long explanation of all the efforts they take to ensure food is GF. Plan ahead — it took about 45 minutes to make the GF falafel sandwich, but it was totally worth the wait! Highly recommended!

Talked with the Sam, the owner and chef, and he told me all about their color coded kitchen, separate bagging and marking of GF items, and which items on the menu were not GF (very few). He asked if it was an allergy or dietary need to make sure all precautions were taken!

I love this restaurant! They are very knowledgeable about cross contamination and have an extensive system set up to prevent it. It is one of the few restaurants I feel completely comfortable eating at. The food is delicious and the owner takes great pride in cleanliness and serving high quality food.

Great food, very clean restaurant. I just had a chicken shawarma sandwich for the first time in 15 years. The owner/chef comes out and talks to everyone and takes Celiac very seriously!!

Excellent restaurant! Awesome selection of Gluten Free and they have open kitchen so you can see how clean this restaurant is, they won the 2019 cleanest restaurant in Genesee county. Awesome staff, makes you feel right at home. I just tried the gluten free pita they are now offering. I haven’t been able to eat one of my favorite sandwiches in 3 years and now I am able to enjoy it once again! Not to mention it is still as good as I remember! Big thank you to Tetas for offering these for those who are gluten free!

Amazing! Staff was knowledgeable about gluten free options and celiac disease! I didn’t feel uncomfortable eating anything they brought to the table. The owner is very passionate about his food and even said what he used to cook the food and the spices he used when the food was brought out. I enjoyed it very much! Will definitely be going back!!

Excellent authentic food. Pristinely clean kitchen, very conscientious owner and chef. No cross contamination issues. I'm super sensitive and celiac. No issues. It's a half hour from my house and I will be back frequently.
