When I asked about gluten free our server went back and came back with a list... I think 2 things on the salad bar, no mushrooms lobster bisque and I think the potatoes are gratin, and as far as the meats go...skip the breaded ones, the garlic ones, and the 'spicy' anything... overall I'd say 90% of the place was gluten free, and it's now our go to place since I have so many options I don't feel limited to a salad and or a bunless burger! Picanha is my favorite, and they made sure every single time a spit came out they hit my table to make sure I. Was "happy"
When they first opened, they were somewhat knowledgeable and accommodating. There were a few occasions when a waiter gave incorrect information, but I learned to ask only managers about allergens.
They’ve made cost-cutting measures that are definitely for the worse. For instance, a manager informed me that they now add gluten into the mashed potatoes. Why?
Most places try to expand their gluten free menu, while TdB is shrinking theirs.
For what it costs, it’s not worth it for those who must eat a GF diet.
I wanted to like this restaurant, but I didn't. There is another Brazilian steakhouse a few minutes away and they have much better options for a similar price. I am basically doing a comparison between them. To start with, the manager was nice and walked me through the buffet, but there were several options I couldn't have and they were right next to items that I could have. They had things like bread and croutons on a top level, so they all dribbled down onto the other food. Typical of a Brazilian steakhouse, they had mashed potatoes, fried bananas, and pao de quejo (Brazilian cheese bread) unlimited at the table. HOWEVER, the mashed potatoes were NOT gluten free and that confused me as mashed potatoes are very easy to make GF. The fried bananas also were not GF. We were only brought 3 cheesy bread pieces to begin with and had to flag our server down after 30 minutes to get more. Our server seemed to be managing the bar area as well, so our service was just ok. The beef was fatty and the chicken and pork were dry. The ribs were decent along with the filet, but it was definitely low quality meat. I just wasn't impressed and doubt I will be back.
Gluten free items identified on their website. ALL the meat offerings are gluten free. You won’t leave hungry. Hostess and Waitress very helpful with identifying Gluten Free
Went here for a holiday party. I talked to 5 different staff, couldn't get a staff member that even knew what gluten free meant. Finally someone handed me an allergen list for the salad bar that clear said at the top "Do not hand or email this list to the guest." It hadn't been updated since 2019.
I felt very uncomfortable and ended up eating almost nothing. I would not take the chance if celiac.
Online they have a full allergen chart so you can see what foods are safe for whatever allergy you have. Almost of the meats that come around are gluten free- I also have a dairy allergy and only a couple of the meats contained dairy due to a Parmesan coating. There’s still a good selection at the salad bar, but I always like to fill up on the delicious meats when I go. When you arrive let your waitstaff know you have an allergy and the manager will come over to give you a breakdown of exactly what you can eat given your specific allergies. Great restaurant and very safe, have never had a reaction when I’ve eaten here.
