Update: my stomach was a messed up the next day and again after eating my leftovers. Willing to try this restaurant again though because of so many other positive experiences in the reviews.

Had to see what the hype was about and boy did it deliver! The server asked me about allergies befor we ordered and was very knowledgeable about what I could eat, even reminding me that I couldn’t try my date’s meal.
Ordered the fried tofu and lotus root and the pumpkin curry with catfish. Both were incredibly delicious! Can’t wait to go back
We are here visiting for the weekend and this is the best Thai we’ve ever had! Everything was unbelievably flavorful. We had the rice balls, sticky wings, and coconut soup - all gluten free. I wish we had this at home, I will crave it!!! Wonderful service & dining experience as well.
Visited this wonderful place twice while in the quarter. The food is delicious, there’s so much that is GF or can be made GF, and care is taken to avoid cross contamination.
I enjoyed several items on the menu, including gulf shrimp pad thai, okra, tofu satay, sticky wings, tom kha tofu, and fried tofu and lotus root. Everything was delicious and i had no issues other than a sufficiently full belly!
Some of the best Thai food I’ve had and they were super cautious of cross contamination. My husband and I were visiting New Orleans for 4 days and went back a second time it was so good. Felt great after both times. We aren’t strictly vegan but had all vegan dishes. Between the two times we went, we had the fried okra (dedicated fried), the massaman jackfruit curry, the tofu/mushroom green curry and the Tom kha tofu soup. All of it was amazing. Also, their drinks were great- especially the Beauty and the Beet.
Unique food that will leave you inspired! The Frog legs are the best GF you'll have in NOLA with a bit of a kick. The tofu satay was slightly crispy and delicious with the cucumber salad and peanut sauce. The fried tofu and lotus root pairing was devine and had just the right zing to it. The star of the night was the pumpkin curry fried catfish... this will leave you speechless. You won't find this combo anywhere else at this level execution in the area. You must try this!
Cocktails were perfect pairings as well. With dinner we had the Thailander Sour and Beauty & the Beet. Both held up to the spices and flavors profiles of the food. For dessert we went liquid and had the Saint 75 and Thai Tea Winter. Both were wonderful but the Thai Tea Winter really held it's own as a dessert drink.
I'm Celiac and they took care of my needs the whole way through. The chef had the waiter come back out and let me know all of my food was separately prepared and fried in a dedicated fryer.. I felt very safe eating here.
My friends and I went to Thaihey NOLA for dinner, and it was a fantastic experience. Reservations are highly recommended because it's a quaint restaurant. We didn't have any, and they had outside seating available along the sidewalk. We were glad to sit outside since it was cool, and inside was very warm. I had the Purple Palmer which is a slightly sweet, non-alcoholic drink, and it was delicious. We started with the fried okra which was excellent. They were small, skinny and flavorful. They were lightly breaded with cornmeal and topped off with some spicy seasoning.
I had the Massaman with a lamb shank. The red curry sauce was delicious, and you have your choice of mild, medium, spicy, and Thai spicy. Anything offered with green curry is medium spicy. The Massaman came with diced cucumbers and rice. It was so delicious, and my mouth wanted to eat it all while my stomach was saying "enough."
Misty was our server and incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and funny. All orders include 18% gratuity which is shared between her and another server.
It was all great, and I had no issues. I highly recommend this restaurant with their Thai cuisine with a NOLA twist.
Got the massaman curry with lamb and it was absolutely divine. The spices were next level delicious. A little on the pricey end but worth every penny.
GF items were clearly labeled and the folks working there were very knowledgeable. They have a dedicated GF fryer. The food is Thai with a New Orleans twist. I had pumpkin curry with fried (in rice flour) catfish and it was incredible. And don’t miss their Thai tea and coffee with salted caramel foam!
