That's A Wrap Cafe

I've heard great things about That's a Wrap Cafe, so I stopped in today to try the Gurl in a Curl bowl. It was amazing! All vegan, fresh, and locally sourced items. I'm vegan and gluten free, so I was so happy to see all the delicious options that I could eat. The staff was wonderful and extremely accommodating to my dietary restrictions. If you live locally or just passing through, this should definitely be on your list of places to stop in Maui. I can't wait to go back!

I am celiac and the owners were so helpful and guided me to the menu options they offer with me. The food was fresh, chef was super and changed gloves & cutting board and utensils without asking. I can see because its a open kitchen. Full transparency. the food was amazing and the sweet baked GF treats were very tasty. Sweet Potato Brownie!! yum. I did notice that the staff is very kind and I can tell that the owners do not tolerate bad behavior as there was a rude customer that was asked to leave. YES!!! they were very disruptive and everyone applauded. We will recommend and also be coming back:) Thanks for a legit place

Delicious—and celiac safe with no wheat in the kitchen and no risk of cross contamination! Nearly the entire menu could be made GF.

Ordered the Yoshi wrap and a piece of gf pumpkin spice cake. The yoshi is Steamed scramble eggs, ham , avocado, pesto, tomato, cheddar cheese with some greens. Both were pretty good. Was surprised it had a good amount of avocado.

Horrible experience beware! I wanted to go here because of all of the amazing reviews. The owner herself remarked(rudely), “if you have all these allergies you shouldn’t eat here”. This was after asking if the donuts were celiac safe/made in the kitchen without possibility of cross-contamination of gluten and if they had any soy (which I try to avoid). it was a pretty fundamental question you would ask any non-gluten free kitchen about your food if you’re celiac. Maybe it was a bad day, though I will never know or go back. I’ve never felt so offended in a supposedly GF place. I walked out of the expired yogurt smelling place (yes it smells horrible inside) empty handed.

This spot was fantastic! Such good vibes and good food. I got a gluten free wrap and chips. The turkey on the wrap was actually turkey instead of thin sliced lunch meat, which I really enjoyed. I was eyeballing the smoothie bowls for tomorrow’s breakfast!

All wraps were available GF and there were tons of grab-and-go items like overnight oats in the fridge that were also safe, as well as baked goods like donuts. Cashier was very aware of celiac and no issues.

Gina is so friendly and will answer any concern you have regarding the menu! We had a delicious breakfast and plan to go back a few times before we go home!

This is a must stop if you’re in Wailea!! They walked me through the whole menu and said what was gluten free. I had the honey girl wrap and it was delicious. The gf wrap itself was great too. They also bake different gluten free desserts so I had a blueberry bar and donut. I wish I had had time to try more wrap options!

What a gem! Absolutely conscious of the safety precautions. They took detailed notes of which items needed which restrictions. One of the chefs asked us after we left how it all was, when I went to thank then for being a safe place to eat, they said they know because they also experience this, so definitely take strong precautions because they either are Celiac or have strong allergens. Plus the fpod is just so tasty. You won't leave here feeling depressed of flavor due to food restrictions, it is all so rich and healthy! We ate here many days on our trip and did not get glutened.

Holy crap everything here is amazing and can be made gluten free. Best peanut butter cookie, best brownie, best acai bowl I've ever had. And the wraps are awesome.

Absolutely amazing! Accommodating with all allergies. The lady who owns it makes everything and knows all the ingredients! The only gluten in the place is the normal wrap (which is made outside of the building). The honey gluten free turkey wrap is to die for!

Celiac friendly?

We had a fabulous experience at That’s a Wrap!! They have homemade gf wraps that are AMAZING!!! Seriously. The wraps did not break or tear, the texture was great, and they tasted awesome! There are gf/df donuts and baked goods as well. Lots of gf/df sandwich and meal options on the menu. I only wish that I lived in Maui so I could visit more often!!
