The Anchor Inn Beer Garden

We found this little pub on this app whilst staying on Tewkesbury overnight and we were really pleased. Had an amazing gf Sunday roast with a choice of desserts and they seemed really knowledgeable about gf. Even the cauliflower cheese was gf so only missed our on the Yorkshire pudding! There where other gf options but we were happy with the roast. Staff very helpful and definitely worth the short drive there. Thank you very much!

My wife is Coeliac and does not trust any restaurant generally

She has eaten here many times the staff are coeliac trained and have great knowledge

They have Completely separate cooking areas etc

Amazing. Everything has a special GF label. When I called they were very knowledgable and reassuring about cross contamination. You can have a choice of declisiously filthy mains, sides and desserts! I had a bacon and cheese burger with chips AND onion rings AND a sticky toffee pudding. The chips were still CRISPY even after a 20 mins drive. How I have no idea but it was amazing 😍 it's two days later and I have no symptoms. Yay for this pub!

Unable to comment on eating in, however the takeaway was great! Everything gluten free was specifically labelled and packaged separate from the gluten pizza we also ordered. Will definetely be ordering takeaway again!
