Similar experience to the single star review. No one seemed to have knowledge more care. I think I’ve figured out the culprit with Memphis BBQ in general is that many of them use malt in their rubs and sauces.

We stopped here based on one review thinking it would be gf safe but it was definitely not. There were six of us dining on a slow weeknight and our server told us that everything on the menu except bread and pasta would be gluten free. We ordered ribs and brisket. Five out of the six in the group got sick. When we asked specific questions about the kitchen and prep areas she could not answer. If you are not celiac, I would still look elsewhere for Memphis BBQ as the food here was nothing special, the coleslaw looked and tasted old, the sauce was overly sweet, and the interior of the restaurant was not very clean.

Great BBQ spot! Traditional BBQ. Have celiac and very sensitive and was able to eat here no problem! Very nice service , had the brisket and amazing ribs with dry rub and bbq glaze, beans, and coleslaw. They serve wood chuck cider and and a few local beers. Would come back!
