Our waitress was very knowledgeable about what did and did not have gluten, their fries are fried separately from breaded items, and the menu is somewhat marked (however items that are not gluten free can be modified). Our waitress told us that basically everything is common sense, and that almost all sandwiches are gluten free without the bun, and even the fish and chips can be gluten free with grilled fish instead. It seems like they are making an effort to be safe about gluten.
Edit: Apparently their fries are no longer fried separately, which I found out last night when we went, but everything else was still good and I didn’t get sick for the second time here.
