Lovely restaurant. Menu clearly marked. Had a great bowl of lentil soup. Server was informed on gf. She said any sausage can be cooked in a pan without the beer. No gf bread though.

I have eaten here on a number of occasions without incident. The availability of high quality gluten free beer is a major plus and hard to come by at restaurants in this area.
For parents: there are changing tables available in both restrooms, and kids are treated as welcome guests.

I was diagnosed back in 1997. I thought ANY type of German Bier/Beer Garden would not be an option. Then I just happened to find The Bier Garden in the Find Me Gluten Free app. WOO HOO!
As mentioned in other reviews they do have GF items listed. However, what they should do is list those items as they could be modified to be GF.
The waitress and kitchen staff did so much to make sure I was safe. They really went above and beyond to do so. I was VERY impressed! So much so that the "gluten alert" we're all familiar with was relaxed and I could relax and be with my family
Also noted in other reviews ask questions! I suspected the mushroom gravy that came with the Schweinehaxe, slow roasted pork knuckle served with Mushroom Gravy on the side, was 1. cooked in beer and 2. the gravy was flour based. In other words, don't order any of the GF items without asking questions first and/or telling them you're GF/CD. They'll modify accordingly.
Thankfully I had a good time with my family and a good (modified) meal. Bonus: no reaction. So they did all the right things!

This is the worst type of restaurant. They list items as being gluten free on their menu, but when the waiter was quizzed, it turned out that the gf wurst was cooked in regular beer. When the waiter was told that beer contains gluten and thus the dish was not gluten free, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. This restaurant yet again proves that we celiacs cannot trust menus
No
They have lots of gf items clearly marked on the menu. They even have a small list of gf ciders and beers. Server was knowledgeable about Celiac and cross-contamination. My meal was great, and I did not get sick!
Yes
The menu is marked with numerous GF options including a variety of German sausages and an amazing pork knuckle with potatoes and sauerkraut. The gravy is not GF. Also had Greens Discovery beer in frosty mug. Not sure if fryer is dedicated. If you want authentic German food, stop in. They also had GF hazelnut cake but I was too full
